"Mom can I go home" I asked. She nodded. The doctor signed some papers and I was free to go. As soon as I finished getting dressed I ran out of the hospital. The cool summer air felt amazing. I smelled pizza and donuts. I walked until I got home, I was going to go in but I looked over and saw a girl coming out of max and Harvey's house, she was really pretty, that must be her. She looked over and smiled at me so I smiled back even though I didn't want to. I walked inside and sat on my couch. "Honey are you hungry" my mom asked. I shook my head no even though I really was.
Max's POV:
I saw liv walk out so I walked into Harvey's room. "Our two year anniversary would have been the day after tomorrow. Gosh max" he said. "Lexi wanted to wish us a happy belated birthday" I said. He sighed. "You know you really should-" he cut me off. "I get it max! I've messed up, I shouldn't have done what I did. Now I want her back more than anything but I'm sure she'd never take me back! So what, what Am i supposed to do" he yelled at me."for starters text her and say thank you for the birthday wish" I said. I watched him as he did that, then we waited. I heard his phone vibrate and he showed me the text. -your welcome- "she's upset." Harvey said. "I would be too" I replied. I walked out and left the house. I walked over to Lexi's and knocked. A couple seconds later she opened the door. She had a depressed look on her face, I put my arms out and she hugged me. I let her wrap her legs around my stomach so I could carry her. "I'm sorry lex I know he wants you back" I said still holding her. "Well I don't think so considering he's still at home. Why did he do this" she replied. I sighed. "Harvey really is very sad, he knows he messed up and he will fix it. He asked out liv because he thought you were gone. You guys make a better couple than they do. You still love him right" I asked. I set her down. "Yes" she said. "But it's hard to love him right now" she added. "I know lex but please, say you'll give him another chance" I pleaded. She thought for a moment "I will but he has to prove he wants to be with me" she replied. I texted Harvey all of this and he said he had a plan.
Harvey's POV:
I need her back. Being with liv was a stupid idea. I decided to text liv.
Me- I don't think we should be together
Liv- what why
Me- just... please
Liv- okay 😩
I deleted her number and put my phone away. The day after tomorrow I'll show up at Lexi's house with flowers, I will take her to dinner and after we will go to gravity force and then go back to my house.
The next day went by slow, when I woke up the day of my plan I was so ready. I styled my hair which was getting long and I put on a nice shirt and skinny jeans.
Lexi's POV:
Yesterday Harvey didn't talk to me or anything, maybe he doesn't love me. I put on my pink boss shirt that Harvey got me, he has one just like it thats orange. I matched it with some black skinny pants and my grey Nike shoes. I put my hair in a messy bun and put on some mascara. I suddenly heard knocking at my door which scared me. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. Harvey was standing there with roses. "Happy Anniversary" he said. "Happy Anniversary" I replied. I looked at him and he was wearing his matching shirt and a pair of pants like mine and he was wearing his grey Nike's. He smiled "nice outfit". I wanted to hug him but I couldn't find myself to do it. I let him in. "Can I hug you" he asked. I nodded and he hugged me. I forgot his hugs were the best. He lifted me a little to where I was standing on my tip toes. I closed my eyes. "I'm really sorry for hurting you" he said. I didn't say anything and I just enjoyed the hug. We finally let go. "It's okay Harvey" I said. "No it's not and I'm going to make it up to you. Tonight marks two years... kinda and I'm going to make it special. When I'm done you can decide if you want me back." He said. He's sweet. A couple hours later we went to Carlos which is a restaurant. After that he took me to gravity force. When all that was done he took me back to his house. We walked in and he took my hands. "I really hope you decide to take me back because I promise I will never ever hurt you again. And I promise to be by your side no matter what." He said. A few promises later I realized what he was doing. When he was done he pulled out a princess ring. "A promise ring should prove it" he said sliding it on my finger. I covered my mouth. I walked him over to the couch and made him sit, then I sat on his lap facing him and hugged him. I cried for a while. "I love you" I whispered. "I love you too" he replied.
