Unforseen Consequences

// Ryan's POV //
I was just texting someone using my phone while Dennis was using his laptop until at around 1 P.M., our gadgets were disrupted, like someone just threw an EMP at it. It just went blank & static until a few minutes passed, we can hear footsteps around the House. I felt a little creeped out by that, but Dennis wasn't, so he decided to check it out. He went to the location of the source of sound armed with his own H&K USP that he & I bought when we're out in the Town. When I look around in my room, I heard his pistol being fired & later came back with blood on his clothes. I asked him "Who is it?" Then he replied back "Some masked fuck. He... Or she... Managed to got away... But relax. He or she will leave a blood trail any second now & someone should-" His answer was interrupted by a woman's scream & later along with the sound of Police Sirens. This is the second time we have a Home Invasion, the 1st being that suit & the hooded girl. With our gadgets being broken at some sort, we decided to take a walk around the Town's park. Everything in Town is relatively large than the usual, so it took us longer to finish the walk by the time of Dusk. When we started going home, I start to have that feeling that Dennis & I are being followed, so I did the cliché move in horror movies, where characters turn around when they feel like they're being followed or hear an unusual sound, and I did. Upon turning around, I happen to spot that girl, so I tapped Dennis' back & told him to move quicker as possible. He asked me why but I just advised him to keep moving. We went to our home quick, but I still spot her so I asked Dennis to lock every door & window if possible. He didn't asked me why, but we both lock everything as soon as possible. We were holdin' up in our room & I explained everything to him, in which that led him to mutter "Well shit...". We both waited for like an eternity in our room... Now you might think that another horror movie cliché will happen. Where something made out of glass can be heard breaking, Doors being opened by force or anything else. No. That was it...  I checked my phone, but I was shocked to see it... A death threat message from that girl... Who she is threatning Dennis for life... Dennis was beyond shaken up... Seeing as some sort of prank... In a Home Invasion... And now threatning my best friend that she will end his life... Now it's gonna be the time for Dennis to Watch His Six...
