It was 6:00am in Tokyo, and the sun was shining brightly. (Y/N)'s alarm went off. She was confused - school started at 7:30am, so she usually set it to ring at 6:45am.
"Wha!?!? Alarm clock, why?" wailed (Y/N) *~*. Then she remembered. She wasn't going to Sakura Tree High anymore. Today was her first day at Music Notes Boarding School! She had always been singing since she was five, and it was her dream to become a singer. Music Notes was a school for all the kids who were either already singers or wanted to be singers. If you were a singer already, you started in ninth grade, depending on how good your songs were. If not, you started at the beginning, unless you were up to the standard of a singer. It costed ¥50,000 every year. (Y/N) decided not to waste her parents' money (for once :3) by getting up and not being late. Music Notes started at 6:30am, and the school was twenty minutes away. That left...TEN MINUTES TO GET READY!!?? Panicking, (Y/N) slithered out of bed and got dressed. She then saved time by not brushing her hair, not wearing deodorant and sliding down the barrister instead of using the stairs. Her amazing mum made her chocolate pancakes for breakfast, and they were gone within five seconds. (Y/N) then rushed into the bathroom, cleaned her teeth and ran back to her room. She pulled out her old duffel bag and removed the Dora The Explorer stickers she stuck on it when she was six.
"What to pack, what to pack..." she mumbled as she searched around her room. She stuffed in a couple of books, her pencil case, deodorants and perfumes, piles of clothes, snacks (in case the food was yucky :P), a camera and...her song book. Her song book was...secret. She wrote her own song lyrics in there. Sometimes, privately, she sang them to tunes of songs that existed. Anyway, she finished packing her bag, said goodbye to her parents and ran to school as fast as she could - which wasn't that fast, so she was late. No other students were at the school gates when she arrived.
"Gomen ne! Gomen ne!" (Y/N) sang 'I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry' by Hatsune Miku as she rushed into the enormous building. It was the biggest school she'd ever seen. The receptionist seemed confused when she spotted (Y/N) entering.
"You are quite late, Miss. The tour has just finished," she said. (Y/N)'s heart sank. She trudged along the hallway until she realized she had no idea where she was supposed to go.
"Hey! Did we miss the tour, sis?"
"Yeah...what do we do now?"
"Call for help! SOS!"
"Idiot! Look, there's someone else!"
"Yay, we're not the only late ones!"
A conversation between presumably a brother and a sister was going on in the reception. (Y/N) looked back. A girl with short blonde hair and a big white bow walked out. Following her was a boy with a blonde ponytail. Probably twins.
"Hi! I'm Rin, and this is my brother, Len," said the girl, immediately starting a chat.
"Hi! I'm (Y/N) - pleased to meet you!" was (Y/N)'s reply, shaking Rin's hand. Len seemed somewhat puzzled.
"D-Don't you know who we are?" he asked. (Y/N) tried to think. Then she realized. She was talking to RIN AND LEN. The Kagamine twins. The famous Vocaloids. Unable to control herself, (Y/N) became a typical fan girl.
"I can't believe this! I'm talking to RIN AND LEN!! OMIGOSH!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEK!!" she screamed, her voice echoing throughout the hall. Rin and Len were taken aback. (Y/N) blushed and looked at the ground.
"Sorry," she whispered, suddenly becoming shy. Rin began to laugh, and her bro joined in with her.
"Don't worry, we've met fans who are far worse," Len said. They had a good old chat for about five minutes, and then they remembered that they STILL hadn't found their way yet. Finally, a tall teacher holding a cup of tea spotted them.
"Rin and Len!! Have you been lost all this time!? I apologize! We promised to treat you nicely...don't worry, I'll help!!" said the teacher, taking no notice of (Y/N) standing next to them. The teacher took Rin and Len's hands and walked to the dorms, while (Y/N), who was quite annoyed, followed behind. They all approached Dorm One. In Dorm One, there was Rin, Len, Phoebe, Natsuki, Miyoki and...(Y/N)!!?? Rin and Len entered their dorm. (Y/N) was right behind them, but remained unnoticed by the teacher. When the three teens came into the room, three more students looked up at them. All began crowding around Rin and Len, while no one seemed to see (Y/N), who thought she must be a ghost.
"This is the dorm for all the new students," said one of the girls, who was later known as Miyoki. She was one of those people who liked to take charge of everything. Her long, black hair rested on her shoulders and her dark brown eyes sent shivers down your spine. A happy bubbly girl was jumping around the room. Her short pink pigtails bounced with her. Her name was Natsuki. And a mysterious-looking girl was leaning against the wall, an emotionless expression on her face. She hid her glowing green eyes behind her black, curly hair. Phoebe. The foreigner from England. She sent (Y/N) a dirty look. So dark, and so evil, that (Y/N) decided to keep her distance from this unfriendly girl.
