Chapter 6

Sleepovers at my house are pretty normal, again, I said pretty normal. We sit in my basement, since it's bigger than my room, and watch TV on the flatscreen. We bring sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets down and watch Pretty Little Liars and eat tons of junk food, normal. But we talk about other boys we like and do really weird challenges, not really normal. Like eating dirt, touching dog poop (that was Amy's dare, she puked after that), and more really weird stuff. We decided that tonight we wouldn't do any challenges, we would do truth or dare without gross and weird stuff. We were sitting and watching the newest episode of Pretty Little Liars and eating Little Cesar's and Dunkin' Donuts when I got a phone call, it was Zack. I heard his voice and a bunch of other boys' voices. "Hey what's up Bear?" All the girls awwwwed at that. I rolled my eyes. "He's good, how's shortie?" I blushed,"She's good thanks for asking. What are you doing?" He laughed," Oh the boys are just over and we're playing serious ping-pong in my basement. What are you doing?" I looked at everyone,"I have all the volleyball team over." I heard him stop breathing I started to freak, was he okay? He started talking again,"Hey, ummm, this might be weird but... can we all come over and hang? It would be fun with all the couples." I had him on speaker so all the girls stopped,"OMG! YES!" I shushed them so then they kept on wildly nodding their heads. I rolled my eyes and replied,"Umm my parents aren't home, but...," I looked at the girls still nodding,"I guess that's fine. See ya in a bit! Bye!" I hung up after he said bye. All the girls started screaming and jumping up and down. I joined them, now this was exciting.

We eagerly set up a snack table and made some kool-aid and sat back down and waited. We all, of course, touched up our makeup. As soon as we heard the doorbell ring at ten pm, we sprung up and all went to the door. "Let's do this," I told them. They nodded. We opened the door and the boys were there but then we saw who was standing by Jerald. Guess who?! Cali! Jerald saw us looking at her,"I invited her," he said,"I hope that's okay." I nodded,"Oh no, it's fine! You know they say the more the merrier!" I said with a fake smile. Unless it's Cali being the more the merrier, I thought and scowled in my head. I motioned them in and Cali smiled at me a sly smile. The she said,"In case me and jerald get tired, do you have an extra bed we can... share?" She winked at me. I rolled my eyes,"Yes mine, but you CAN'T use it." I smiled as she rolled her eyes,"Fine I guess a sleeping bag will work." She winked again and walked downstairs. Amy looked at me, she was the only one still by the door with me. "What. The. HECK! She and Jerald already have... you know." I gave her a crooked smile. "I guess, jeez." We both walked downstairs and saw everyone sitting on the ground. Cali brought out her bag. "I brought some fun games,"she said. Amy and I looked at each other as if we were saying, Maybe Cali isn't as bad as we thought. She unzipped her bag,"We have Spin-the-bottle, Bang;Marry; and kill," she continued with more games that were not very appropriate.

We all sat down in a circle and decided we would play Spin-the-Bottle first, seeing it was the game closest to being age appropriate. I grabbed a root beer bottle and ran back downstairs. I sat next to Amy where Eric was across from me. He winked at me and I nervously smiled. Everyone was being mean and saw me watching everyone nervously so Amy said,"Saige! You're the hostess, you spin first..." I glared at her and slowly leaned forward to spin the bottle. My fingers touched the cool glass of the root beer bottle, and it sent shivers up my spine. I spun the bottle harder than I intended to and it spun faster and faster as it went in a circle. Finally, it stopped, on Zack. I breathed in and out and everyone laughed. "You were worried there Saige!" I nodded and walked over to Zack and kissed him. Everyone went aww and some more awws. After my turn Rowan and Wyatt were the only other couple that we got. It was pretty funny when Amy got Jerald, Cali looked MAD, 'cause she didn't get Jerald, she got Jack. Ahna wasn't to happy about that herself. Once the night was finally over everyone started to fall asleep except for Zack and I. We just sat together and watched the movie. Jerald and Cali were "mysteriously" gone as Ahna said. Amy and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes because we knew what they were doing. Finally I remembered something and I was sure glad I did."Uh, guys what time is it?" No one answered. I shook everyone and Zack turned the light on and off. They all woke up,"Wh-wa-what?" I stomped my foot,"What time is it?!" Amy checked her phone," Uh, 1:50, why?" I slapped my forehead," Oh NO! This can't be happening..." "What," Amy said with a curious face,"What can't be happening." I stopped and breathed in and out," My parents are coming home in TEN minutes and this room is a mess and I don't think they would be happy if they saw you men here without me asking." Wyatt slapped his head," Well why'd you invite us?!" I replied hastily," Well I didn't know we'd all zone out and fall asleep and make a huge mess of popcorn and candy!"
