I woke up. I was so scared. What happened? I don't know any more. I looked around to see everything still in place just the way it originally had been, except no Shiko. Where is he?, you may be wondering. I have no clue. I stood up and began walking through out the house. Nothing. No one was here. Except for me. I couldn't think. What just happened? All I could remember was stabbing the brief case. Then I must have passed out. Wait the briefcase!
Remembering, I ran into the living room and saw that everything was gone now. It just disappeared when I went into the other room. I still saw one single lock left on the door hanging by a chain. Written in this lock was the word, "Shhhhhh" I was so confused. Then the door opened. Shiko! He walked in with scratches and bruises covering his body. And a large bite covering his neck.
It must have been a werewolf bite. I ran to him and threw my arms around his waist and gently hugged him. He placed his hand upon my head and rubbed softly. "Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I uh... well... Brody bit me."
"What?" No. No no no no no. That can't be. I started to get scared, feeling the panic flow through me. He gripped onto my shoulder. Then I realized, How did he even get out. The door had an uncountable amount of padlocks guarding it and the clue. The clue!
I walked over to the door and tried to figure out what happened, "How did you even get out? I mean where did everything go?" I asked confusingly.
Shiko guiltily looked down upon the ground, "Well you see..." He started.
"What?" I firmly replied.
" I unlocked the door and returned the brief case back to its original owner." He said . I wanted to be mad, but I couldn't, I wouldn't. He was about to die. I was about to lose the only friend I would ever get. I opened the door and ran. I was crying. No, correction, I was bawling. I ran and kept running. I didn't stop until I was completely out of breath. I saw a bench, I don't know why it was there. But I was in no position to question anything. I slowly walked over and sat on the bench.
It was cold. It was sad and lonely. Just like me. Another tear fell upon my lap. When I heard a slight crushing of the twigs behind me. I turned quickly, but not quick enough. As I slowly began to face forward again. When I felt something gently force my hands against the backrest of the seat.
I looked up and saw the face of Shiko; Disturbed. I tried to struggle out of his grip, but he was to strong, "Let go of me... LET...GO!" I yelled.
He only began push harder. "I need you to calm down," He exclaimed. I didn't. I was kicking and throwing my legs around and around as much as I could. "C'mon Flare. Don't make me..." He begged.
I still kicked. Getting frustrated, Shiko then pulled my arms forcing me to the ground. He sat on my legs so I could no longer kick him. "I...need...you...to...calm...down..." he panted.
I moved my head back and forth still crying from before. He then, out of no where, kissed me. That caught my attention. I stared into his deep blue eyes, astonished. I didn't know what to say or do, I just froze. He stared back. I wanted to know what I could do, was there away to stop the were wolf bite from destroying him? I didn't know.
The last tear fell upon the ground below me before Shiko finally began to loosen his grip; still not letting go.
He slowly laid down fully on me, I began to giggle a little before hugging him. I rolled over so I was on top of him and smiled. For which that moment, I forgot. I forgot about everything. I forgot about the bite, I forgot about Brody, I forgot about the world. All I could focus on was Shiko. Shiko. He has always been there for me. I wish I could say the same for me to him. But I couldn't for I left him for my old life.
