Perrie rolled her eyes as she checked the time again leaning against her car. Jade was 10 minutes late. She didn't understand because they had the same class at the end of the day, it shouldn't take this long to grab books from your locker and leave the school. She tapped her foot impatiently waiting for the brunette.

Suddenly she heard a soft giggle in he air. It was like music to her ears. Perrie glanced up at the approaching brunette with an unfamiliar figure walking beside her. The blonde could feel her heart wrench as she saw the both of them. What the hell?

Perrie shook her head slightly and pursed her lips as the shaggy haired boy and Jade approached. "Em, sorry to keep you waiting. I had to meet up with Jed." Jade said quietly as she gestured towards the guy. Perrie nodded to Jed and he scratched the back of his head in response.

"I'll see you later, Jade." He said with concern in his eyes as he hugged the smaller brunette. Jade wrapped her arms around him, letting go after a few moments. "Be careful." Jed whispered as if Perrie wouldn't hear him. The blonde cleared her throat and narrowed her eyes at him. He squeaked and quickly ran off leaving the two girls alone.

"Took you long enough." Perrie mumbled quietly but loud enough for Jade to hear. Jade just sighed and set her bag in the trunk before entering Perrie's car.

Perrie slightly slammed her door causing the brunette to jump. "Sorry." She muttered bringing the car to life. She drove off of school grounds and onto the street. "You can choose a cd if you'd like." Perrie said not looking at the brunette once.

Jade glanced down at the cd's resting on the compartment that separated Perrie and herself. 'ACDC, Perrie's mix, Jonnie and Perrie, The Beatles, The Rolling stones, Oh Wonder...' Wide variety of music. One cd caught her eye in particular. 'Originals - Perrie Edwards'

Jade glanced at the blonde before speaking up. "You, uh, write music?" She asked timidly.

Perrie's eyes widened slightly, she knew she forgotten to take the cd out. "Just...yea."

Jade opened the plastic that surrounded the cd and took out the disk. She gently placed it into the slot and waited.  A soft piano began to play and right from the start she knew it was a sad song, a ballad.

I'm alive, and living's just a beating heart
'Cause we won't admit we've taken it too far
I know it's love cause I will always be the first
To start making up excuses when it hurts
But I'm alone, I'm alone, I'm alone again
And all I want, all I want is to feel again

Jade leaned back in her seat and stared out the window. She loved songs that made her feel like she was in a movie or music video. She hated the fact that it was Perrie's song and it was so good. She wished she could record her songs like Perrie. But she couldn't afford all the equipment.

The more the song went on, Jade wanted to actually start crying. She played with her hands and stared down at her lap, biting her lip softly. Once it got to a softer part where the song calmed down slightly and Perrie hit the high note, she could feel tears welling in her eyes. She didn't know why it affected her so much. It was a song. A song that Perrie Edwards wrote.  But at the same time it was music, and she could appreciate music no matter who the artist was.

Perrie glanced at the brunette and slightly raised an eyebrow. She could tell by Jade's body language how much the song affected her. The song stopped and soon went on to another. Jade turned it down slightly.

"You made that all on your own? With your own equipment and everything."

Perrie turned into the driveway of the mansion. "Yea."  She answered shutting off the car.
