Perrie seemed awfully quiet to the rest of the gang. It was lunch time and she sat with her usual friends; Harry, Zayn, Louis, Jesy, and Lydia. The table wasn't quiet, the usual murmurs here and there about 'I'm gonna kick Jackson's ass if he doesn't hae my homework down by tomorrow' and 'I'd kick his ass either way.' It wasn't quiet but it didn't have the remarks Perrie would usually throw in that made the table erupt in laughs or have them smirking.
"Yo, blondie. What's up with you today? Jade finally fight back?" Zayn chuckled and the rest of them offered laughs. Perrie only offered a forced smile. "Just a rough day is all." Steer the conversation away from the brunette.
"Perrie Edwards having a bad day? What gives?" Harry teased his stupid dimples popping out. "I've never heard of such a situation. Anyways, Edwards. So, I know you and Jade had that presentation today," Oh yea, Jade freaked out afterwards cause she thought she'd messed it all up. Perrie assured her that the whole presentation was fine and it turned out they had gotten a 98 percent.
"-date?" Harry smirked as he waited for the blonde's answer. What had he been saying? Perrie cleared her throat and glanced around. Apparently this was important since Jesy was looking at her wide eyed, Lydia was giggling as if this situation was bad but funny at the same time, everyone else was raising eyebrows.
"Eh, sorry. What?"
"Wow, something really is wrong. I said can you ask what Jade thinks about me? I'm going to ask her out. I'm sure she'd love to date me, because, who wouldn't?" Perrie rolled her eyes internally. She definitely wouldn't want to date the boy.
She suddenly felt protective of the brunette. She knew how Harry was with girls. He'd only use them for his pleasure and dump them the next day or so. "You looking for a new toy, asshat?" She cocked her eyebrow up and she could hear Louis let out an 'Oooo'
Harry raised both his eyebrows in disbelief. "Why do you all of a sudden care? It's just Jade."
Perrie could feel anger building up though she could see where he was coming from. She'd never asked anything about his love life. Let alone his 'toys.'
Harry narrowed his eyes as Perrie back down a bit and avoided his gaze. "Don't tell me...." He muttered as if he'd figured something out. Then he started laughing and the rest of the table followed (except Jesy). Perrie let out a nervous laugh.
He paused after his laughing fit. "That was just a joke right? Yea, I know. Seriously, though. Ask Thirlwall what she thinks of me. She isn't going to be like the others. You deserve a break from a the fun anyways. I think I'll mess around with her for a couple of weeks or so." He smirked and Perrie felt the anger boiling again.

"Are you actually going to pull through with this? When are you even going to ask? Why-""Jes, can you just...be quiet for a minute." Perrie sighed defeated and shut her locker. They began to walk to their cooking class. Perrie didn't know what to do. If she didn't ask, her friends would catch on. If she did, everything would be okay besides the fact that Jade would be suspicious. It was no secret that Harry Styles was a player.
They made it into the class just before the bell rung and took their seats. Jade and Leigh stopped their conversation to greet the girls. Well, Leigh did. Jade offered a small wave.
"So, all we're going to be doing is figuring out our recipes for our cakes. Remember, it can be a carrot cake, red velvet cake, the traditional chocolate cake, you get the point. Also keep in mind, you are going to be doing this at your partners house. Okay, get started!" The teacher announced sitting back down at her desk.
Jesy and Leigh went to pick out their recipe at the front. They were already printed out and set out on one of the tables. Perrie glanced up at Jade who's gaze was at her lap, thumbs fiddling.
