"Luna, get you butt up and dressed, we have to go to school!" I hear my brother yell from downstairs in the kitchen. I sighed as I pushed the blanket off me and got out of bed. I put on a light blue crop top, paired with black jeans and white converse. I put my dark brown hair, with light brown on the ends, in a ponytail. I threw on my Leather jacket over this and went downstairs.
"Morning little dragon." I said cheerfully to my brother. Thomas James Rider (T for short because he doesn't like being called by anything else.) is my younger brother by 12 minutes brother. Yup he is my twin brother, but we don't think we look alike. I'm the oldest of five kids, but right now T and I live alone and that's how we like it.
He rolled his eyes at the nickname but did it with a smile. "Well look who decided to get out of bed today." He said in a teasing manner. It was my turn to roll my eyes. I start to make our favorite breakfast in the whole universe. French toast. "So you exited for your first day of school?" I ask T without looking at him. He stops what he was doing and takes a moment before replying with a sigh. "Well when you have as many first days as we do, they all kind of get predicable." I nod my head and finish up with the food. We sit in silence for the next five minutes, eating our food.
We had moved into out new house only a week ago , during the end of the winter break, and there was still a lot to unpack. Luckily: when we moved in, we did our rooms and bathrooms first so we wouldn't have to worry about them later. It was still going to be a challenge though with just the two of us. "Well if we want to make it on time to walk around before first period, we better make like a banana and split." I said picking up the dishes and putting them in the sink. All my twin did was groan and get up to grab out bags and keys to our respected bikes. We each have our own motorbikes to drive. We are both !7 and have a license (A/N pretty sure that's not how it works, but it does in this story.) so whenever we want to just go out or calm down, we just drive around on these bad boys. Don't get us wrong, we have a car we use too, its a little sky blue Volkswagen bug, but we just prefer our bikes
I grabbed my helmet off the counter and caught the keys T threw at me. The bikes were parked out front. T's had a dragon design going around it, with flames out lining its sleek body. Mine was simply black with the word Rider written across the left side of it. We started the engines and I put on my helmet, securing it. We now attend Magia de Luna Academy in Texas. We used to live in California but things happened so we moved here. This isn't the first time either. My siblings and I consistently move around, luckily our family owns one of the largest companies in the world. Dragon Corp. It produces almost everything, from cars to food, clothes and other thing except weapons.
Being the eldest "niece" of the woman who founded the company has its perks, like being able to live alone with your twin brother at the age of 17. My other siblings all live together somewhere around us and even go to the same school but we don't like living together that much.
~ Time skip~
We arrive at the school and I follow my brother into the student parking lot, finding our siblings standing next to their cars. T parks to the right of them, while I park on the left. I take my keys out of the ignition, pulling off my helmet seconds later. I fix my ponytail before getting off the bike.
Like I said earlier, I'm the eldest of five kids. It goes Me, T, Our brother Leroy, and the other set of twins Sara and Nate. Though we often call our youngest brother little lizard, due to his obsession over lizards.
"Wow, didn't think we see you guys here early." Leroy says as he stops leaning on his jeep. T looks at me and we both roll our eyes simultaneously. "We would have been here earlier if little miss sunshine decided to wake up." T retorts with sass in his voice as he walks over to Leroy. They do the weird boy hug thing while I hug both Sara and Nate.
Now you wouldn't think my siblings and I were related at all. You would think that we are all best friends or Something. I was born with dark brown hair. I had recently died it blue at the ends, so that's why my hair is a lighter brown on the bottom. Even though T and I are twins we don't really look like it. Shockingly my brother was born with short jet black hair, thanks to our mom's side of the family. The only things that make me and T look alike is our faces. We both have high cheekbones and a Somewhat pale complexion. Brown eyes and small button noses is where the list ends for us. Leroy has the same dark brown hair as me, but he has blue eyes and a caramel skin tone. His hair swoops up in the front and off to the side.
Sara and Nate are a whole different story. They both had dirty blonde hair, Sara;s reaching her shoulders and NAtes was styles like someone from the 40's. Like T and I they both had brown eyes but average sized noses. They had cheekbones like Angelina Jolene. Other than looks we look pretty much alike. Other than the fact that I'm 5'9 and all the boys are like 6'1 and my sister is 5'11. Yup the oldest is the shortest. They usually think Leroy is the oldest, but we really don't care, T and I were born one year before Leroy and maybe half a year later Sara and Nate were born. We all are very smart, so Leroy and the twins skipped a few grades and that's how they are in the same grade.
We all walk into the school side by side, heading straight to the office. I open the door, letting everyone go in before me. Leroy takes us to the front desk and starts asking about our schedules. The woman at the desk nods her head, going to print them out. I spot some chairs and lead my little pack over to them. ten minuets pass, before the lady comes out with our papers. "Here you all go, it looks like you all have the same first period." She said sweetly while giving me the small pile. I give every one their papers , giving them a glace as I do. She leaves us alone after suggesting that we walk around.
Leroy leads us out of the office and we all agree to go check out the cafeteria, and find a place to sit for a little. Lucky for us the cafeteria is straight down the hall from the office, so its a short walk. We try to find a table that is close to the food lines, but also away from the crowds. We find one and Leroy and I sit on the end with the twins in the middle facing each other leaving the end to T on Nates right.
I guessed this place didn't get new kids a lot, because everyone kept staring at us. "Anyone got a clue as to why they are staring at us?" I whisper as I pull Sara closer. Nate goes to answer when Leroy is thrown off his seat and on to the floor.
