Ashley

Tom's friends decided to move the party inside, while Tom and I stayed outside to clean up the deck. I can't help but laugh at the way, the four celebrities in the house were carrying on. I hear a bunch of hoot and hollering, and hysterical laughing.

"Sounds like they're having a good time in there." I say throwing the last of the trash away.

"Yeah, I better get back in there, I'm not being a very good host." I giggle and he gives me a dirty look.

"What's so funny?" I shake my head at him.

"Nothing, I was going to say something mean, but I'll just keep it to myself." He nods his head.

"That's the smartest thing I've heard you say, since I met you." I sneer at him, and he just laughs at me.

"Can you even attempt to be nice for once, do you always have to be an asshole, at first I thought you were like that to everyone, but I see how you are with your friends. You're actually a nice guy, what is it about me, you dislike so much?" He walks closer to me and bends over and whispers.

"You annoy me, you treat me....." He trails off, then runs a hand through his hair.

"Like a normal person, and not a Celebrity?" He looks at me, like a deer in headlights.

"Yes, why? Most people try and kiss my ass, and you don't." I give him a small smile.

"Maybe you need to be treated like a normal person, so you don't forget that you are one, I like you, like this, You're not really a pompous jerk, just to many people let you get by acting like one." He nods and starts to say something, when the inside door opens and Scarlett walks out onto the deck.

"Hey you two, are you going to sit out here all night, or are you coming in, to play one of the best drinking games ever?" We both look at each other.

"I better go, but you guys have fun". I say walking to the steps of the deck.

"Ashley?"

"Yeah?"

"Stay, it'll be fun." I nod and smile.

"Okay, You twisted my arm." He smiles back at me, and holds his hand out in front of me.

"After you." I giggle like a school girl.

Where the fuck did that giggle come from? I don't giggle. I think to myself, as I walk into the house.

Tom

The next morning when I wake up, the first person that comes to mind is Ashley, I had a really good time with her, she became the life of the party, and I think Chris Evans was flirting with her. Which made me none to happy, for some reason.

Later in the day, I found myself looking out the window periodically to see if she had returned from work yet. When she finally did come home, I wondered to my back yard, because I knew she would be letting her dog out soon. When I hear her back door open, I pretend to be interested in the flowers in my flower bed, acting like I don't hear her come out.

"Pretty flowers huh?" I look at her with a smirk.

"Yes, They are." She shakes her head, as she takes the leash off her dog, to let him run.

"I didn't take you for a flower guy, Beanstalk." I turn to look at her, and my expression turns serious.

"Well there's a lot you don't know about me, Doc." She raises an eyebrow at me.

"Like what?" She asks, looking intrigued.

"Have dinner with me tonight, and I'll tell you all about it." Her expression instantly changes, as she calls for her dog.

"No, That's not possible, I have no desire to spend another evening you, but thanks." I stand there looking at her, feeling crushed.

"I thought we had a great time together last night, did we not?" She walks to her back porch, and opens the door, to let the dog in.

"One good night, doesn't warrant a date, I knew this would happen." I adjust my glasses on my face.

"What would happen?" She lets out a non humorous laugh.

"If I was nice to you, Your ego would think I wanted more, that's just not the case, nice try though." She says before walking into her house and slamming the door behind her.

Well, What the fuck just happened there? I think out loud.
