Chapter Twelve

Justin's POV

I looked down at Nichole waiting for a response. All I could do was pray that she'd say I don't know what she's talking about. I'd never do that! But I could tell by the look on Nichole's face that this girl wasn't lying. Now all I could wonder was who did she cheat on me with?

I finally looked at the random girl who told me the news and said "With who?"

The girl smiled sympathetically and said "I'm not sure. No one knows yet. I guess it's just a mystery guy."

I looked at Nichole and said "I'm leaving. You can walk home."

She sighed and began walking down the street. I guess she didn't even want to bother arguing with me. I grabbed our things and took them to my car. I drove down the street and saw her walking.

I sighed and said "Nichole, get in the car. Let's just talk about this."

She shook her head and started to walk faster. Tears were streaming down her face. I can't see her be so upset and know that I'm the reason why. I still love her. I still believe that we can make things work out. I pulled over on the side of the road and began to walk towards her. She began power walking again to get away from me. I grabbed her wrist and started pulling her towards the car. I basically looked and felt like a kidnapper. With all the strength she had she fought back. I finally got her to my car and let go to open the door. She kept refusing. Finally I couldn't take it and just picked her up and sat her inside. We drove in complete silence to my house. Once I arrived I saw Ryan's car in the driveway. He was sitting in his car with his head resting on the steering wheel. He looked really worried and stressed out. I grabbed Nichole and tugged her up the driveway. I stopped next to Ryan's car and knocked on the window. He looked up and saw me and faintly smiled but it soon vanished once he saw Nichole.

I rolled my eyes and said "Let's go inside we really need to talk."

They both walked inside behind me and quietly sat down next to each other. I sat down on the other couch and folded my hands together. I don't even know where to start.

Nichole's POV

Justin finally spoke and said "Well first of all Ryan you can leave because this has nothing to do with you. I don't know if you heard but Nichole cheated on me."

Ryan's facial expression went blank.

Justin doesn't know that's Ryan in the picture.

Ryan sat up and thought of a quick lie and said "Oh really I didn't hear about that.."

I gave Ryan the dirtiest look ever and said "It was Ryan who kissed me! He's lying!"

Justin looked at me in disbelief and said "Nichole I think you need to quit fucking lying. I know my bestfriend wouldn't lie to me." and smiled at Ryan.

Ryan smirked and said "You know I'd never betray you bro."

What an asshole. How could he just sit there and act like he is totally innocent! He kissed me!

I got up and raised my voice saying "Justin! He's lying! You can't believe him over me!"

Justin looked at me and said "He's giving me every reason to trust him over you."

My eyes started to tear up and I said "Justin. Please believe me."

He swallowed and gave me a cold stare and said "Why should I? You know what, Nichole? Maybe I should believe you. Maybe you are telling the truth but one thing I will always believe in is Bros Over Hoes and in this situation Ryan's definitely a bro."

I placed my hand on my hip. My mood completely changed.

I raised my eyebrows and smirked and said "Trust me. I'm not the only "Hoe" in this situation. Ryan kissed me! I swear on everything. I swear on my love for you that Ryan Butler, your "Best Friend", kissed me. He's not as loyal as you thought."

Justin got heated. I could feel his angry aura.

He got up close to me, only inches apart, and said "Leave. I know he wouldn't do that!"

I looked at him and said "Who are you trying to convince? Me or yourself?"

Justin tensed up and squeezed his eyes shut tightly. I may be wrong but it seemed he was trying to restrain himself from hitting me. He sat down and immediately broke down.

He choked out the words "I can't do this!"

He took a deep breath and said "I can't live my life worrying about my friends, family, or girlfriend betraying me! It's not fair! Why can't I be normal? Why can't I do normal things and go out and not have to worry about the whole world knowing someone cheated on me! Or everyone knowing I got in a fight! Or knowing I smoked weed! Or about my parents past! None of this is fair! I just want my normal life back. I'm sick of feeling like everyone's earthier attacking me or using me. I just don't want to do this anymore."

By now he was in tears. My heart was broken because I just realized how long he's been holding this in. He's been strong for so long. I walked up to where he was sitting and bent down and hugged him. I held him tightly. For a long time. Ryan came and hugged him too. Finally me and Ryan let him go.

Justin sighed and said "Please just go. I want to be alone."

I took a step towards him and said "Justin just let-"

His voice cracked while he said "Just go. Please."

I sighed and grabbed my purse and slowly walked out with Ryan.
