#3 . Caught

Chapter 3

These flowers are so pretty. All these white and blue roses in this snowy morning is so Serene that I don't want to see anything more. It is eternal beauty . The cool winds on my icy skin feels ticklish.

I love the environment. After all I get to see the nature very few times as I am mostly hiding in the palace. Only three people know about my identity. My father, Nathaniel Nemesis his trusted right hand man Fin Nemesis and my elderly care taker Miss Martha . She is a human unlike the other two.

I know it seems weird that a human is taking care of me. A vampire. The first female vampire with unlimited and unknown powers. Like a new species. Same with drastic changes. Everyone is interested to find out but my father, the king of vampires has hidden me well these past years. No one has a inkling of my life or presence. Some vampires even think that I am human .

Well, why they think I am human? It is not so complicated after all as my eyes are clear prove enough. Vampire have red or golden eyes depending on their diet but I have blue and violet eyes. I know it is weird but I can't explain this to myself or any other being out there. Normally, I have blue iris but during full moon it is the shade of Violet. Showing my vampire self. I don't have red eyes.

" Naila, where are you dear?" Came a voice. I am familiar with this voice cause she is my care taker cum mom, Martha.

"I am in the back garden."

"What ? Come here darling." She pleads concerned. I roll my eyes at her antics .

"Yeah! I want some more time in the garden." I reply cheerful.

I can't express my desire as I tuck my hair behind my ears and watch the high mountains. These mountains are so high and pretty. And the falling waterfall is more breathtaking then the rain. I love it here.

"You know it is dangerous , dear?" She scolded. But I just ignored her .

"But Martha....."

"No, come with me . There are dragons lurking around ."

Dragons. This word just made me sour. Why can't they let us live peacefully?
I really don't like them.

" But? Dragons here.... Why?"

"I don't know baby. I am just a mere servant." She said .

"Okay Martha. Let's go in." I agree with her.

She smiled and then gave me a loving smile. But then I smell more stronger powerful smell of the dragons. Why are here strong dragons here in the garden?

I quickly hide my scent so that I can be seen like a normal human. Father always said that I need to hide myself from everyone. Not even vampires have the knowledge about my existence.

I take Martha's hand in mine and hide behind the mountains which leads to a cave. I use my senses to track the dragons.

"Dear. What is wrong?'

"Where are you taking me?" Martha asked confused.

"SSH! Be quiet. Martha." I tell her.

There are over 82 dragons inside the castle. But why? Then I smell three dragons coming towards us. I brace myself and cover my face with my bacalva and use the extra cloth to cover my lower face.

" Lord CABIR. Why are we here?" Asked a voice.

"I can smell two human scent here." Said the jovial voice. I know it is weird to say that his voice is jovial when he is searching for someone but his voice have that kind of energy that can give you strength anytime.

"What? Humans in the vampire castle. Must be their food. " Said another voice to cabir. I think.

"Well let's check" said cabir .

Then I waited with Martha to observe their actions. Then I heard some whispers . I tuned my ears to the third voice who spoke for the first time.

"What about Nemesis?"

"What about him?" Asked the second voice. I couldn't hear Lord CABIR's voice . But still can feel his presence over here.

"You know when are we going to capture him" asked the third voice.

"Shut up. He is already caught and right now being sent to Daxon . Werewolf king Dhruv is taking him." He said

What? But why?

Why are they taking father with them to Daxon. Daxon is the land of dragon where the fire palace is. The place where king resides. That means he had given orders to summon him.

Shit! Father is in trouble.

And on top of that he is taken by a werewolf. We are enemies. How come these dragons are cruel?

A lone tear escape my eyes betraying my emotions. I only have my father as a family and now he is also not here. What should I do?

I should go and talk to Fin. He can help me but how do I escape from here?

"Dear, what is happening?" Asked Martha concerned. She must have seen the worried lines on my face.

Suddenly there is a big figure looming over us. I turn around to see a handsome man having a jovial smile on his face. Like he found a lottery. His smile was so fascinating. It must be Lord CABIR.

"Caught you.!!" He laughed.

Oh no! What now????

Sorry for the long wait. I had a Terrible writer's block. But now I will update this book more often. Atleast till it reaches 10 chapters.
It will be my compensation.
