and the way your touch moved across my skin
left television static on the surface
i'd never fallen in love nor did i believe i could
but under indigo light i realized the feeling wasn't a fall
rather a float
like we were suspended in outer space and the only thing that could touch me was you
like the inevitable end of our 'us' wasn't exiting the bedroom, pale faced and eyes low
her fingertips grazed my arm and my eyes could see it, yet i couldn't feel
all i felt was your hands hold me tighter, almost too tight
but the good kind of 'too much'
