To make a good OC, it starts with the artwork. First things first, do NOT claim other's work as your own!
This includes:
Bases (Credit whoever made the base)
Tracing over (It is like duplicating Mona Lisa and coloring it)
Re colors (Just no)
And plain out stealing!
I recommend drawing your own or CREDITING the artist who made the artwork for your OC.
Bases are not ideal, but they are acceptable. HOWEVER, Recolors are NOT acceptable unless you credit the artist!
These rules apply to:
-Public Forums
-Social Media
-Roleplay Servers (Well, some...)
For Private Use OCs
For OCs that you use in private for roleplays/story building/etc, you don't usually need these rules.
Roleplay Servers may have rules against using other people's art, so please go through the rules before using the art you wish to use.
