Two weeks had passed and things were going great between me and Aria but I never showed her the anonymous text and never planned on, but one day in Spanish while Aria was taking pictures on my snapchat a message from them popped up. " I see your'e still with Aria, nice to know your'e not the smartest person" Aria obviously clicked on it and read the daily messages I'd be getting for the past two weeks. " Jerome" she said and I knew something was wrong because she had never called me Jerome, even in her phone she saved me as 'Hope'. I took a deep breath and turned around to see her with an upset look on her face and the phone with the messages right beside it. I grabbed my phone quickly and before I could explain she started to yell. "This has to be Kai, it could only be Kai" she got up and started pacing. I could see here face turning red and I tried to calm her down but although I was a very tall person and she was around the height of a fun sized pack of skittles, she was a ball of fire. Mrs.Lowe our Spanish teacher finally stepped in and asked her to take her seat, she thankfully listened and sat down but she refused to speak to me for the rest of the day. This was our very first fight and it was caused by someone who wanted us to break up, how ironic?
The bus ride home after school was very quiet for me as she refused to sit next to me and after we got off the bus she walked on the opposite side of the road. I shout across the road to grab her attention but she just plugged in her rainbow coloured Taylor headphones and blasted the music. I gave up and just decided to be quiet. I still walked with her to her house and then back up to mine but as soon as I got inside and my phone connected to the wifi, it buzzed. My first thought was that it was from that anonymous coward who decided to increase the daily texts. When i looked down at my phone my heart sank and suddenly the world around me stopped, complete stillness and silence was all that now surrounded me. "I'm really sorry to do this over text" it read " but I just didn't have the heart to do it in real life, I don't think I can stay in this relationship if all your'e gonna do is lie, so i'm out." I didn't reply because what was there to say? I already apologized enough for a lifetime so I left it at that. But now what was I going to do?Obviously I couldn't stay eating lunch with her and her bestfriends like nothing was wrong and what about most of my classes, most of my seats were next to her. I'd already figured out the bus thing, I asked my mom to start picking me up again and she agreed, no explanation needed.
The next day Aria seemed to have taken care of everything. The seating chart use to have a boy called charlie at the end with Tia, Malachai, Jaheim and Kenzington in the middle and Aria and I at the end but Aria switched seats with Charlie so she could get away from me but still be close to her friends. I begged Tia to exchange with Charlie and sit next to me but she'd rather sit next to Malachai, her crush, some bestfriend, huh? I guess i'd have to become friends with charlie now but all that was left to figure out now was lunch. I had a couple friends from Math class who ate not too far from us so I decided to try eating with them and let Tia come across occasionally to eat. Thankfully Spanish was over quickly and the others decided to let me eat with them while I was trying to figure out things with Aria.
