"Iwa-chan, hurry up or we're going to be late!" Oikawa yelled to his child hood friend Iwazumi or as how he likes to refer to him 'Iwa-chan'.
He had been standing outside his friends house in the freezing snow for over twenty minutes. His hands had grown numb from the cold as his brown hair slowly drowned in the snow that had fallen from the early winter sky. His breathes formed warm cloud like mist whilst his feet fumbled about the driveway trying to stay warm.
The door opened abruptedly in front of him as a boy a few inches shorter stepped outside. He had messy hair and tanned skin which contrast with his impatient friend's fair, snow like skin. A warm hand slowly reached out to the taller boy and slapped him on the back of the head. "It's 5am crappy-kawa, you should not have this much energy, it pisses me off." Oikawa was about to shout a retort back at him when a strong arm pulled him inside the warm house. "You really are a lot of work idiot, I'm putting on some breakfast which we can eat on our way to practice. If you keep waking up this early you'll be too tired to set me any good spikes and what kind of captain would you be then? Now sit down and atleast try not to break anything." A smile quickly formed on Oikawa's face as he sits himself down on the seat beside his short-tempered friend.
Oikawa began to lecture his so called Iwa-chan on their last volleyball match and how if he had been allowed to practice more then they would have won for sure. Iwaizumi just rolled his eyes. He wished his annoying not so little friend wouldn't be so hard on himself. If he keeps pushing himself like this Oikawa may have more to worry about than just being late to practice or missing his favourite documentary on aliens.
This was how morning usually went with these two and all though neither of them would admit, they secretly loved them.
