Renee sat in her rocking chair on her front porch, a cup of spice tea loosely dangling in her shaking pale ones, thinking about Chace and how he had walked in her life like a raging storm. He left such and impact the first time she met him, not even she herself could deny the effect he had on her. The way his green eyes lock into her blue. She could tell there was so much to him, so much he was hiding inside. Too much to hide inside of an eighth graders mind.
That's right it's their eighth grade year and Chace was a new student, he entered her science class in the middle of October. His chin length blonde hair hung messily around his face, framing perfectly his rosey cheeks. His pouting lips lay relaxed before he turns to the teacher and introduces himself. "Um, hi, um my name is Chace. I'm a new student here." Renee couldn't take her eyes away from him. He was the most attractive eighth grader she had ever layed her eyes on. He had a bit of a grunged look but Renee found that even more attractive. "Hi Chace, I've been expecting you, go a head and take an empty seat, we are just going over the periodic table right now, you can catch up later."
Chace nodded slowly, his hair falling in his face as he did so. There was and empty seat right behind Renee and she couldn't help but hope he would take it. As their eyes met again, Renee smiled timidly and then looked down at her notebook, where she had been doodling stars, flowers, and number signs. She heard the shuffling of two feet and a back pack being set down behind her. She turned her head to see Chace sitting in the seat directly behind hers. She smiled yet again, "Hey", she whispered to him. "Hi." he whispered back. She knew then, that she was going to do whatever it took to become friends with him. Her heart pounded quickly and drastically as she thought of what to say to him next.
