Chapter 1 - STRIPPED

Her name is Chelly, a girl that has been through it all as a child which leads to insecurities and trust issues in her future. She is 19 years old trying to create her childhood dream of becoming the next best female entertainer. As a child she listened to music all the time but it wasn't something that was accepted by her father. Her father half the time was drunk and discouraged and insulted Chelly's dreams that she dreamed of pursuing. Chelly doesn't have a great relationship with her father ever since she left home at 15 years old, she couldn't handle the mental abuse he would give her calling her useless and brought up an extremely touchy subject her mother (who died after delivering Chelly). Her father told her that she will just end up like her mother...A WHORE! The last thing Chelly said was she vowed never to see him again and she slapped him across his face. She felt as if her world had fallen, a girl that lived in the country in Texas. She worried how she would live day to day, she has done things she is not proud of to help make money but she did what she had to do to survive. She was a private dancer for a club downtown she was loved by all the workers in there as well as the paying men who go from work to the club to find booty calls to cheat on there wifes,  Chelly never went that far as to sexually fulfill there wants but just gave them a dance to remember and all her clients respected that. As much as she hated what she was doing she slowly felt more and more comfortable with herself, She did always fear that she would fall in love with a client. She didn't make enough to live on her own so when her night shifts ended she befriend a fellow dancer at the club named Alicia, Alicia came from a wealthy family but her family felt she was a failure because they wanted a son to heir there legacy so she wasn't exactly accepted but she worked hard for the lifestyle she was raised upon. Chelly and Alicia rent a house in an upscale neighborhood because Alicia is dating a realtor and her realtor boyfriend gave them a great steal on a house, Chelly felt so secure living in an area she knew her father would never imagine her living in. Chelly normally had the house to herself since Alicia goes to her boyfriends most of the time, with leaving Chelly alone half the time after work she always leads to an emotional breakdown praying to her mother wishing and hoping that she is proud of her, wishing she was here on earth to guide her, to give her a sign that life will get better. Her father always talked bad about her mother who was very well loved from the entire community but her father thought different thinking it was a way to crave attention. Chelly's way of expressing her feelings was playing the guitar as well as singing/song writing. She currently writes a song dedicated to her mother and dreams to perform it for the world, her dreams are big and she is devoted to making her dreams come true.
