Chapter 6 - Let There Be Love

The day Chelly never thought would come by far for a long time is now here, she is preparing for her first date in years with a man she fell in love with at first sight. Chelly is very nervous about her date tonight with Drew and worries that she might say something stupid or makes things awkward between the too or just too shy to speak. Chelly calls Alicia to come over to help prepare her make up and hair for tonight's date, Alicia came over and first calmed Chelly down telling her that this could be potentially her prince charming and she needs to bring her A game. Chelly has a glass of wine to ease her nerves as she waits for the clock to hit 7pm, Alicia only stayed long enough to finish styling Chelly's hair and doing her make up then told her she had to go to work because she is the star of the show. Chelly felt as if Alicia thought she was better than her now that she was the face of the club, Chelly told Alicia that shes glad she chose her as the replacement because she knew she was second best. It was shade thrown to Alicia and she got the message loud and clear she replied with a smirk and sarcastic laugh as Chelly smiled and waved her off as she closed the front door. You can feel the tension brewing between these two women who at one point were best friends but it doesn't seem the "sisterly" love is there anymore. 7PM IS HERE!

The doorbell rings at Chelly's house, she checks herself in the mirror one last time before she opens the door, she looks at her mothers picture and tells her to wish her luck. She opens the door and there she finds Drew in a tux her jaw dropped looking at him up and down, but was lost staring at his brown eyes, Drew told Chelly that she looked beautiful and reached out his hand to her asking "Shall we go to our lovely dinner?" Chelly smiled and held his hand. They arrived at this 5 star Italian restaurant which is Chelly's favorite food. They are seated in a private booth with all these candles and rose pedals around the table, Chelly was filled with even more butterflies seeing how Drew is going out of his way to make her feel like a queen tonight. As they are seated Drew ordered the finest wine chilled and poured both there glasses before they begin to get to know each other more, Drew starts off the conversation asking Chelly where she saw herself in 5 years, Chelly told him how she always has had a passion for music and has been writing a special song in hopes of one day releasing it for the world to hear, she goes on explaining her inspiration to pursuing this dream is her mother that she never met because she died after giving birth to her and all she has is a journal her mother wrote in prior to delivering her. Chelly begins to tear up and Drew begins to shed a tear and holds Chelly's hands telling her that her mother is looking down on her proud of the woman she has become Chelly smiled feeling how could a man like Drew not be taken he is a great guy. Chelly then asks Drew about his divorce, he openly admits that his ex wife cheated on him with his best friend and after he caught them in bed with each other that next day he filed for divorce. Chelly then proceeded to ask if he had any children Drew replied telling her he has a 2 year old son Aj and he is the sunshine in his world Chelly was very impressed with how much Drew perked up talking about his son she then asked him if he wanted more children if he found the right woman, Drew replied saying he would love to have more children but explained its hard to find the right one, Drew then without thinking told Chelly "I think you could potentially be that woman, the woman i love, the mother of my children." Chelly was shocked but the feeling was mutual deep down in her mind she told to herself "I am ready to be yours, to love, to be the mother of your children yes yes yes" but with her mentally talking to herself she had a smile and wasn't talking which made Drew nervous as to what she was thinking he rubbed her hands calling her name, she realized he was talking to her and she told him "The feeling is mutual you're a great guy and i could see myself with you and being that girl who is the future mother to your children." As dinner begins to come to an end Drew offers to bring Chelly back to his place because he has something he wants her to see, Chelly agrees and is excited yet questioning if they will go all the way tonight.

As they make there way to Drew's house Chelly has so much going through her mind and even more butterflies in her stomach. They arrive at Drew's house which is almost identical to Chelly's house she is renting she jokes around with him telling him how they have the same taste, Drew laughs. He opens the car door for Chelly and they go into his house, you can feel the sexual tension rising they both want to make a move but are nervous the other isn't ready for that. Drew shows her around his house which leads to the room he wanted to show her after hearing she was aspiring a singing career, Drew has his own recording studio and shows Chelly that when she's ready that this room is ready for her to start producing her song, Chelly felt like she was dreaming and couldn't believe what Drew was offering to her, a dream she has been wanting to come true now is almost a reality. She hugs him and as they pull away they both get lost into each others eyes for a second and Drew leans in and passionately kisses Chelly. Chelly whispers in Drews ear "i want you to make love to me" and she bites his ear softly, Drew kisses her again, holds her hand and leads her to his bedroom. Chelly asks drew if he can unzip her dress, he unzips her dress and she takes it off he then can't stop looking up and down at her beautiful body. She begins unbuttoning his shirt kissing him, removes the belt off his pants, unbuttons and pulls his pants off then grabs his hands and brings him towards his bed where she lies down as he crawls on top of her where they then made love passionately. After hours of passionate love making they both looked at each other eye to eye in bed and said "I love you".
