Lucas looks at me, then Ella, then out into the fog. He howls like never before. It is a like a pack of wolves calling out to each other all at once. "Thomas." A young boy of about 17 comes sprinting up. When he sees me, he kindly smirks. He is dressed in a loose, wrinkled, beige shirt. There are brown leather straps across his chest. "He's cute," I think. Inside my head, I slap myself. "No! You like Lucas! You can't like two guys at once!" I watch him as he runs his fingers through his hair, pushing it back. In my Mind Palace, I come up with so many different outcomes (because that's how my brain works. I meet someone new, and I automatically come up with 47,000 different solutions as to what could happen between us, if anything).

The boy looks at me, his head tilted slightly. He notices that I am also looking at him, and he does that cute smirk again. I notice that he has really deep dimples. Mind Palace (M.P.) me slaps myself again. I also notice that he has a really cute smile. M.P. me slaps me so hard I fall on the ground. "Oh gosh. Have I been staring at him for too long? Has he noticed?" I come back to reality. Everyone is staring at me. I feel my face flush and my hands start to shake again. Ella looks down at my hands, notices that they are shaking, and grabs them, holding them together. I focus on my breathing, trying to slow it down. My hands start to stop shaking, and Ella lets go of them.

The boy inclines his head to my hands, "We need to fix that." He grabs my hands and starts tracing one delicate finger softly across my palm, "I had the same problem. You haven't learned how to control it yet." He looks up at me, his soft blue eyes locking on my cold gray ones.

My brow creases and my lips open a tiny bit to make an "O". I look him over, deciding if he could be trusted. After a couple minutes, I determine that he is safe. I have so many questions yet to be answered. I try to hold them in and ask one at a time. However, a fountain of questions come rushing out of my mouth, "How do you know it's magic? Do you have it too? How can we fix it? You said I just haven't learned, can you teach me? What's your na-" The boy silences you with a single smirk. My cheeks flush a bit and I manage a small smile. "Sorry. When I get talking, I can't stop."

Ella chimes in, "Her mouth is as fast as her feet." I fake glare at her and she smiles. "Seriously. Lucas and I have even tried duct tape. Nothing works." I start to argue, but she cuts me off. "It's true!" She shrugs. I hold my hands up in surrender and grin.

"Ok I will agree with that one." I rub my cheek, and laugh, "seriously though! That hurt!" Everyone tries to hide their laughs, but soon fail. I mock an injured look, but eventually join in with them. Suddenly, the boy gets back to business.

He looks around, grabs my hand, and says, "We need to go." He glances behind us, and adds, "now!" The boy grabs Lucas, who grabs Ella, and pulls them in. With a wave of his hand, we all disappear in a puff of smoke. Suddenly, we arrive in a place I have never seen before.
