Clara's P.O.V
"Thankyou heaps for this Clara, I'm very grateful! My sister exclaimed. She doesn't get many days off, having three kids under 10 years old. She's going out to an surprise engagement party, at one of her friends places. I volunteered to watch her kids whilst she's out for the night. She needs it.
"It's fine! I offered didn't I? I smile at her. "You better go or you'll miss the announcement." I laugh.
She just smiles. "Thanks again, I'll see you later tonight, or maybe in the morning."
After saying our goodbyes once more, I finally shut the door, and take a seat on the couch, next to James and on the other side, Oliver.
James was the oldest, 10 years old, with straight blonde hair, and eyes, like his dad. Oliver on the other hand, he was 8, and looked like his mum. He had Black hair and hazel eyes.
"Where's Anna?" I ask the boys. They both just shrug their shoulders. Great, 2 minutes into baby sitting and I don't even know where all the kids are.
I walk to the usual place I find her; My bedroom. And, sure enough, she's on my bed, lying down on her stomach crossing her legs in the air.
"Whatcha doing Annabelle?" I ask her.
She turns around and gives me a glare. "First of all, its Anna." She scolds me. I knew that already, but its just funny getting her reaction. "And second of all, what else do you think I'm doing?" She said with a 'duh' tone in her voice, then waved a book around and then went back to reading.
Anna is a lot like me. We both had brown eyes, with brown curly hair, hers was a fair bit longer than mine, but I've always liked mine short. We even shared the same hobbies. We both loved reading, and lets not forget, we loved One Direction. Most people would think we were sisters, but we were just really alike in looks.
Anna is also very smart for her age. She's only 6 years old, but she can read novels that I read at the age of 15, she is very well spoken, and is very mature for her age. She seems distant from everyone else, but then again, so do I. I guess that's just what it is that makes us get along so well.
I sit on the end of my bed, which she is comfortably sprawled all over. "What are you reading?" I ask her yet another question. "The Hunger Games." She says. "It's an unusual choice for me, I know, but its really good." she smiles. "And also because mum still won't let me go see the actual movie." her smile fades and she sighs.
"It's okay, I won't say anything." I assure her, pretending to zip my lips shut.
I exit the room after a few minutes of talking to her about One Direction, and a few other books.
********************************************************************
After sitting in the lounge room on my phone, and watching Criminal Minds for a few hours, there was a knock on the door. At first, I thought it was my sister and her partner coming back from the engagement party, and she forgot her key, but just to be sure, I grab the metal bat from next to the door, to defend myself.. you never know okay? And I'm paranoid.
I open the door enough for myself to stick my head out. In front of me wasn't my sister and her partner, instead there were 5 people that stood in a row with hoods on.
Gripping the bat even tighter in my hands, I could feel my knuckles going white.
"C-Can I help you?" I ask, trying to sound confident yet it only came out in a small whisper.
The one in the middle took his hood off first, revealing a very familiar face. Liam Payne, from One Direction.
"So sorry to bother you at this time of night, but our car broke down, in front of a few houses the road, and this house was the only one with the lights still on, in walking distance." He half smiled.
"It's fine, it's only- oh" I look down at my phone to see that its almost 2 in the morning. "Maybe it is late, but it's still fine, what can I do to help?" I say, trying not to freak out too much.
By now, the other 4 people took off their hoods, revealing the rest of the boys from One Direction.
