17 • I Don't Know Your Name

The guards were still on their way to the door. Yuri, Za'Moria, Jacob, Craig, Rayan and Chresanto already had a feeling they wouldn't make it on time, before the guards caught them. Raven still had hoped they would, she was the only one left - who actually had hope left.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion, the guards running towards them, Jonnae trying to light the match. Eventually, she finally got it to light. But, unfortunately, the wind had blew the light right back out.

Jonnae was on the last - and finale - match. The match that would either;

A) Let them go free, and back to their loved ones in friends. And let everyone left in the building to burn.

Or

B) Force them to move to another asylum, where they are either to far away from home, or maybe even closer. To die without having without having any kids. To go completely insane. And maybe not even have love.

Who knows?

Everyone watched as Jonnae took the last match. It was lit.

"Throw it now." Craig and Rayan said in unison.

Jonnae had threw the match and everyone hoped that the wind wouldn't blow out the fire before it hit the floor of the asylum.

The guards and Boss Man stopped, as the fire spread before them.

Everyone stood up and cheered. "Yes! Finally! We can be free!" Chresanto yelled.

"So, you love me Zay." Jacob said with a smirk.

"No!" Za'Moria answered without hesitation. "I was just - I was just in the moment. B - Because I had to tell someone that before I died."

"So, you decided to tell me?" Jacob said crossing his arms.

"Well," Za'Moria paused. "You were right next to me. So, I just said 'Why not?'" Za'Moria said rubbing her arm slowly and looking down. There was a sudden spark in her eye. "So, you love me Jac?" She mocked Jacob.

"No, I was just in the moment."

"Sure you were Jacob." Za'Moria smirked this time.

"Guys we should probably go now." Jonnae said looking shaken.

"Why? We just got our freedom." Rayan said.

"Well your about to have it taken away from you!" Jonnae said running down the so-happens-to-be abandoned road. Everyone looked and suddenly realizing some guards turning around the building, holding guns in their hands. Everyone's eyes widened, and they ran, following Jonnae's path.

"I see more freedom!" Rayan shouted now getting in front of everyone. The guards were shooting at them aimlessly.

"Everybody,... when we get closer,... to,... the houses,... we,... we,.. should start,... yelling,... so everyone can,... look out the windows." Jacob said trying to catch his breath, and almost getting hit in the back of the head with a flying bullet.

"We will get you! And,... when we do,... we will torture you! Or better yet,... kill you all!" Everyone ran looking at each other when suddenly Raven fell. Everyone kept running, Jonnae sighed and ran back to Raven and helped her stand.

"You aight?"

"Yeah, I think so."

Jonnae tried to move quickly with Raven but she was kinda heavy, for a young girl.

Craig looked back and saw Jonnae shrugging on keeping up with everyone. So, he ran back to them and also helped. Soon enough, they went faster.

Everyone started shouting, to get peoples' attention. Some were looking out the window and ignoring, but it also looked like others were calling the police and looking outside watching.
