The Big Finale (Part 1)

The shadow disappeared...

Rayan looked around for a moment. He laughed to himself. Man I'm really seeing things now. Rayan started walking back to the house but all of a sudden the trashcan fell over making a Boom sound.

Rayan sighed. He walked back over to the trashcan and picked it up.

In the corner of his eye he had seen the the shadow move again.

There was complete silence, like the world paused for a brief moment.

"Yo! Anybody there?!" Nothing. Still silence.

Rayan jumped when he heard the dog start barking.

He felt someone tap on his shoulder. Awe shit. Rayan knew that if he turned around one of the boys that he attacked would punch him. But if he fought back, the other two would run out to attack him also.

In which he would take a brutal beating.

Would it be better to continue walking and risk being attacked from behind? Or to turn around, get punched, and maybe attacked by two other boys?

Rayan sighed, turning around. He was ready for what was about to come.

The boy that he attacked clenched his fist, and punched him in the face. Rayan stumbled back.

Don't hit him. He mentally told himself.

The boy looked confused, but he punched Rayan in the nose. "Why aren't you fighting back?" The boy asked, punching Rayan in the eye, giving him a black eye. He seemed to be getting frustrated. "Fight me!" The boy kicked Rayan down, causing Rayan to hit his head on the cement.

Rayan refused to scream out in pain.

Fight him. A voice said in his head. Rayan stood up and threw the boy into the trash can. In the corner of his eye, he saw the other two charging towards him. He elbowed one of them and kicked the other in their face, which caused them to fly backwards. The one he elbowed stood up and was about to punch Rayan in the face, but luckily he caught his hand.

"Do you want to go or shall I open my can of whoop-ass?" Rayan held up a imaginary can. The boy shook his head no. So Rayan let go off him. "Clean up your friends will you?" Rayan started to walk back to the house, but stopped when he heard the boy call him.

"Rayan."

Rayan turned around.

"Thank you." Rayan nodded his head and continued walking towards the house. Rayan always liked a good fight.
