The BROKEN MAN

(NICOLAS POV)

""Brigettttt!!!!!!""

That's the only thing I can hear from myself, screaming going frantic, and I don't know what to think next or do, my hands are shaking and my voice are trembling. Ken runs towards my direction together with some few fellow police officers.

"" what happen Nicolas!""

He's voice was ringing, but I felt like I'm in another dimension my heart was racing fast, I snapped to that and I finally spoke to him back, but I only stutter.

""ma...ma..my family .....""

I dropped my phone and I run back to my car and drove. Ken immediately followed me together with my fellow police officers. Sirens wailing, and the radio was busy. I can see my house already and I stop the car. I tried to open the door, but the door was locked so I kicked it , I barge as fast as I can, runs to our bedroom only to find my wife's dead body lying on our own bed with blood spatter all over the curtains. I untie her quickly and I hug her so tight her blood was all over my uniform her heart was cut right open.

""Katrina!!! Noo!!!""

My voice was screaming so loud neighbors noticed it. ken arrived few minutes after me with some police officers. He run towards my location and he stand in shocked, couldn't believe what he just saw.
I let go of my wife as I remembered my daughter. I placed my dead wife gently and ran to the bathroom. I saw my little girl floating already in the bath tub I grab her out from the water. I lay on the tiles and hug her I place her in the ground I untie her, and took off her duct tape. I tried to give her a mouth to mouth and I tried to pump her chest I did that over and over but she didn't respond I saw her lips already in blue and she is getting cold and pale.

""nooo... nooo...not my baby girl!!! Noo please god no!!""

I started to cry and cry rocking her dead body. I stroke her hair and hug her so tight. it was the darkest days of my life. No words can explain how I felt in that moment. CSI arrived and ken tries to pull me off from the ground but I fight back and I scream he back out and tapped my back.

""I'm so sorry Sarge ""

He give a deep sight as he walks out and went to the CSI's. They took pictures from the scene and tries to gathered evidence. One of the officers yelled.

"" Hey! I found a bloody Camera here""

I don't know but it made me jump off and rushed to get it, they tried to stop me, they say it's too much for me to bare but I beg so they have no choice but to give the camera to me. And I finally saw the horror that happened to my family. They all saw and they can't help but to sight and felt bad and sad for me, after all we all have family's and they can't imagine it to happen for themselves. They won't let me finish the whole video because I was already in shocked specially to the part where he drowns my little angel. The CSI took my wife and daughter to the van. They pulled me off and put blankets on me as they assist me out side. They put yellow tapes on the doors and windows and I just stood there and I can't believe everything what just happen. My family that I loved so dearly was just erased just like that. The CSI went towards me and give me Briget's necklace, I opened my palm and accepted it . My heart just broke the minute I open the locket on her necklace, on the right side was her and me and the other side was her and her mother. Tears slowly runs to my face as I kneeled down and holds my baby girls necklace I kissed it as I start to scream and cry.

So that I can pick one that suits best...
