"Thank you, Enjoy your time at the Zoo" the employee behind the ticket booth said, handing us our tickets. As we walked through the gates, the Zoo was filled with laughter from families and soft "oh's" and "aw's" from kids amazed by all the unique animals.
"Let's go by the birds first?" Jack chimed, motioning towards the birds exhibit. "Sure," You agreed as you followed beside the green hair boy. You two were pretty deep into the exhibit when you felt Jacks hand suddenly grab your arm.
Turning to see a frighten boy with a dark blue and white bird sitting a upon his head. You couldn't help but laugh at the situation. "Stop laughing, this isn't funny" he softly spoke obviously trying not trying to disturb the bird. "It probably thinks your hair is a tree" you mentioned.
You look out your camera and took a picture. He finally broke and laughed causing the bird to fly away. "Jesus!" He screamed moving the opposite direction the bird flew.
You noticed Jack put on a hat. "Paranoid?" You teased. "What? No, the sun was shining in my eyes," he said chuckling. The sun was getting a little irritating. Luckily you two dress appropriately for the heat.
"We're not even out of the bird exhibit and I'm already dying of thirst" you said pushing your hair of of your face. He softly chuckled as you two made your way over to a concession stand. You got a cold water bottle as Jack got an ice cream.
After the bird exhibit was the safari animals. "Look a lions!" Jack exclaimed pointing at the large cats laying under a shady tree. "Be careful" you said as he rested closely to the fence.
"Don't worr-" he said before dropping some of his ice cream into the pin. "Jack!" You laughed as he quickly dragged you away from the pin. "Shh, nothing happened. You didn't see anything." He said as you two walked down the path.
