Victoria's P.O.V

The car ride to take Thomas home, took no time at all. He lived just down the street from Victoria.

On the way over, they had spent a good deal of time I silence. But Thomas broke the silence asking, "Why don't you hang out with any body?"

Veronica bit her lip, and her cheeks turned a warm red. What! Why am I embarrassed! I don't care, if I don't have friends. She awkwardly thought to her self, and shrugged at Thomas, in stead of actually explaining.

Thomas, hoping to now end this awkward silence for good said, "Well maybe we could hang out?"

Victoria choked slightly, while trying to say, "Yeah, I guess." she couldn't hide the grin, that came from the fact that he asked her that.

After he left the car, the weight of the day weighed down on her. She was exhausted.

She recounted the events of that day, and then it hit her. A wave of nausea. A pit in her stomach, the cold feeling had returned, but it was worse now.

She felt a searing pain on her arm, and she turned to the face. Which she could now see, wasn't the face wasn't just dirty covered in soot. It had been burned. The flesh scared and mangled from the heat, that had once danced across it. But unlike before, she could hear the words that had evaded her earlier, "Feel the pain, that I feel." Suddenly she invisioned her self in a room filled with flames. The licked her flesh, seeking her out. She screamed, as they engulfed her.

That's when she opened her eyes, and she was in her driveway.

What just happened? She thought dazed and scared.

She looked down at her arm, looking for any sign of a burn, but there was none to be found.
