"Congratulations Tyler, Next up is April heart" Mrs.Donovan said as I slowly lifted up from my chair I looked around at all the faces I saw Becky smiling proudly at me with pure joy, I saw Ashley glaring bullets at me, Trent gave me a small kiss on the cheek making me roll my eyes and I slowly walked down the long gym floor trying not to trip on all the small white lawn chairs. As I climbed up the stairs of the stage in the gym I took in a deep breath

"Here we go." I sighed knowing what was going to happen next, as I was about to take my diploma from my old math teacher. Then, I heard the tapping of a mic, and loud gasps from everyone "Great," I thought, "He's using a mic" I rolled my eyes as I turned around and gasped, Becky was standing with a camera in her hands, and Trent was in front of her, on one knee, one of his hands held a mic, the other held a black box with a diamond ring inside.

"April, you might think I'm a horrible person for telling Becky to trick you, I honestly don't even know what she told you, but whatever it was, it probably wasn't true," everyone in the gym chuckled lightly, " So April, I know we've only known each other almost 3 years, but they were the best 3 years of my life, I'd love to have more like them, minus the car crashes, and the coffee on your head, and the party. So April, will you please say yes? This ring was a lot and it would be embarrassing if you said no," the crowd laughed again, I smiled as I ran off the stage and gave Trent a hug almost knocking him over, " I'll take that as a yes?" he said looking up at me smiling, I laughed slightly and nodded my head being too choked up for words. As he slid the ring on my finger I whispered " This has been the best 3 years of my life."
