You woke with a start; sweat dripped down your brow as you looked around wildly. You relaxed as soon as you see your family. Your Pokemon – well the ones that would fit in the house – lay on your comforter-covered floor. Your Incineroar was quietly snoring beside you in your queen-sized bed; you looked at her and smiled softly, a few tears rolling down your cheeks. You put your hands to your face in disbelief. You never cry... Not even during... You shook your head, flinging more tears and hitting the large cat beside you and the giant mosquito laying on the floor.

The cat shifted and rolled over while Buzzwole lifted its head and sat up to look at you. "I'm fine, buddy. It's just... Nothing, don't worry," you whisper to the Ultra Beast. It stares at you with blank black eyes. Its body begins to light up and the particles in it begin to move, signaling it was awake and wasn't going to sleep anytime soon.

You sigh and roll out of your bed, trying your best to be quiet. The Incineroar twists her head and peers up at you. "Don't worry, girl, I'm just going outside for a minute to get some fresh air." You turn and walk past your Xurkitree as Buzzwole stands up and follows you.

Once you navigate your home through the dark, you open your front door and step outside. You lived right outside of Po Town mostly because you didn't know it was inhabited by Team Skull but it was a lot better now that they had disbanded. You watched as two Grunts do their odd dancing; you could hear them rapping to each other- albeit very badly. You laughed quietly as Buzzwole settled down beside you.

"Yo, yo, yo, you got a problem wit' us rappin' o'er here'!"

You look up and the two Grunts are right in front of your house dancing. "Yeah! We may just have to take your Pokemon!" one said, emphasizing his words by dancing. "No, no! I'm just having fun watching," you smile as sincerely as you can muster. One of them looks you over and then his eyes fall behind you to Buzzwole. "U-Uh! O-On second thought, we'd b-better leave!" he yelled and grabbed the other Grunt to drag him off back towards Po Town.

You stare at them and shrug, heading back into your house, forgetting just what you had come outside for.

The next time you cry, you're soaking wet and laying on the ground. It began raining - no, pouring - down right on top of you. You laid in the middle of your yard and heard wet footsteps and a strong smell of weed – or cigarettes – you weren't really sure the difference between the smell. You looked up and saw Guzma standing there. Oh Arceus, you had forgotten that you had playdates between all of your Pokemon that day. You started to hit your head against the ground and he rushed over to you. "Hey, hey, woah! What tha hell do ya think yer doin'?" he chastised as he lifted you up to your feet. "Woah, ya okay?" He shoved himself into your bubble and inspected your face real close. "Come on, come on, let's go inside, 'kay?" He pulled you into his jacket and your heart fluttered just a little bit.

Once you were both inside, Incineroar rushed to you and began to pull you up the stairs. She helped you get out of your wet clothes and and warmed you up a bit before you put some dry clothes on and went back downstairs to see Guzma. His Golisopod was chittering to Buzzwole, who was flexing and chittering right back.

"Hey, ya okay?" Guzma looked you up and down and grimaced once he saw how puffy and red your eyes were. "I'm fine," you say, looking down at your feet. "Bullshit." You looked up, shocked. "W-Wh-" "I saw ya just layin' there and cryin'." He put his head on his hand and closed his eyes, shaking his head. "I know somethin' ain't right," he murmured.

He pulled you into a hug and you began to cry. You wrapped your arms tightly around him and sobbed. "What's been buggin' ya?" he whispered into your neck. You shuddered and buried your face into the side on his. "I've been having a lot of flashbacks of... my dad," you whimpered.

Guzma's grip around you tightened and he sighed, pulling away from you. He stared long and hard into your eyes and bumped your foreheads together. He put his hand on your cheek and gave you a quick and gentle kiss. Your heart fluttered. You smiled softly at him and hugged him tightly.

"Let's get ya some Tapu Cocoa and let ya take a nap." You nodded and held his hand.
