"Dan, is something wrong? You've been acting kinda strange lately, and I'm starting to worry," Phil inquired, sitting down on the couch next to Dan.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, everything's fine," He replied, increasing his grip on the coffee mug.
Phil didn't believe him, and continued searching Dan for any signs of distress.
"Hey why don't you go eat more cereal so I can have more footage for my compilation?"
Phil groaned before responding "Ugh, don't you have enough footage as it is? Plus, I'm a horrible actor, so it wouldn't look authentic," Phil whined, not understanding why Dan was making the 'Phil eats all of my cereal compilation', all he knew was that it was starting get kinda weird. Phil didn't eat that much cereal, did he?
"Because, I already promised everyone on Twitter, and I intend to deliver."
"Ugh, why don't you just sneak up on me at four in the morning and give me heart attack, like you did last night?"
Dan rolled his eyes and began nervously tapping his fingers on his coffee mug.
Phil mumbled something under his breathe before making his was over to the kitchen. He grumbled slightly before grabbing the last box of cereal.
He placed the box on the counter and grabbed a popcorn bowl to pour it in. He had just finished opening the cereal when he heard Dan 'quietly' creep up behind him. He tipped over the box, letting the cereal pour out as he rolled his eyes, but looked down when he heard a loud clank.
He began shifting through the bowl, which was unfortunately already full of cereal, trying to find the cause of the noise without making a mess. He heard a small fake cough from Dan, but ignored it and kept searching for any foreign objects he might choke on.
Eventually, Dan got tired of waiting, and tapped Phil on the shoulder, only to be ignored.
"Wow, I knew you liked cereal, Phil, but this is a new extreme," he joked, trying to hide the increasing panic in his voice.
Phil ignored him, and eventually gave up on not trying to make a mess and began rather violently searching through the dish, ignoring the slight mess he was making.
"Umm... Phil," Dan asked, seriously starting to panic.
Suddenly, Phil's finger brushed up against something cool and smooth. He wrapped his hand around it, but before he could look at it was startled by a small crash behind him.
He turned to see the camera sideways on the table and Dan shaking.
"I... uh, had to sneeze?" It sounded more like a question than an explanation, but was quickly followed by a fake sneeze.
Phil eyed Dan suspiciously, but quickly turned his attention back to what was in his hand.
He opened his palm to find a small silver band. At first, he thought it was a nut, but upon turning it over, he realized that if was a ring. A wedding ring.
He looked up with teary eyes to see Dan on on knee in front of him.
"Phil Lester, will you spouse me?" Dan asked, with a shaky voice, his anxiety getting the best of him.
Dan could've sworn that there was an entire eternity spent in the time he waited for Phil to respond. Every millisecond was another millennium gone.
Phil chuckled, he always found Dan's akwardness adorable.
"I do."
All eyes began watering. Phil's did because a whole new chapter of his life was starting. Dan's did because he couldn't believe that Phil and him were getting married. And through the sideways camera, a million other people began crying while watching Dan livestream his proposal to Phil.
Those viewers now saw Dan and Phil shuffle off camera, and some left, thinking that the show was over, time to go blog. But the loyal fans waited for about ten minutes to see Phil sit down at the table on the left half of the screen, admiring his ring, his promise.
It stayed like that for five minutes, before Dan walked on screen. The last thing the viewers saw before the livestream ended was Dan holding Phil's hand in front of the camera saying "He's mine now, happy Tumblr?"
And then the screen cut to black.
Author's Note: Sorry this took so long to post, I couldn't really find time to edit this, and Wattpad didn't want me writing more than 200 words.
Sorry that the beginning is really bad, I couldn't figure out how to start writing this, and I was to focused on not repeating 'box' or 'cereal' or 'bowl' 50 times each paragraph.
Any suggestions, leave them as I comment, I take the time to read them all (mainly because I have no life)
Also, one last thing, while writing this at two in the morning, I thought of a very different way for the second half to go that is not at all happy, so if you want that, it's not what you'd expect, let me know by sending a baby pigeon carrying a sea foam green rock to my inbox. Or, you know, just leave a comment. That works too, I guess.
Laterz,
~Roan
