Beau's POV

I was sitting on the couch, worried as hell. I heard the door bell ring. I went up to answer it and saw Luke holding a sleeping Tess.

"What the"

"Shh...shes sleeping"

"Hehe she looks so cute"

Luke walked in

"I'm just gonna go put her in her bedroom and lay her down" Luke said

"Alright"

And few minutes later Luke came down he looked a bit worried.

"You alright mate"

"Yeah I'm ok but Tess isn't

"What do you mean"

"Well today, you know how we got ice cream?"

"Yeah"

"Well Tess went to the bathroom and she didn't come back for a while then I heard her scream out no, I panicked. I ran over and kicked the door down to see this boy on top of her holding her down, she was struggling to get out of his grip. He was touching her, she was crying. it broke my heart to see her cry so much. I pulled the fuck head off her and punched him and he ran off."

By now my blood was boiling. some dick tried to do god knows what to my sister. if anyone even looks at her weirdly i'd kill them.

"Luke I'm so proud of you"

I went up to him and gave him a brotherly hug

"Thank you for taking care of her and keeping safe. you kept my promise"

"No worries I would never let anyone hurt her and you know that"

I pulled away and gave Luke a big smile.

I'm glad that she's safe. because really she is all we have.

Jai came down the stairs

"Sup Luke"

"Sup"

"Where's Tess?"

"She's in her room but she's sleeping so don't go in" I said

"Yeah ok" jai replied

Jai's POV

As if I listen to beau. I slowly crept into Tess's room and saw her sleeping. she looked so peaceful. i saw that she had tear stained cheeks. was she crying. and why?

I went up to her bed. she's a heavy sleeping she won't wake up. i sat at the edge of her bed and put my hand on her head. I hope she's not dreaming the horrible dream she has been having over this month. it must be really hard for her. she can't control the dreams. it must be traumatising for her.

I put my hand on top of hers and held onto it. her hand was so small compared to mine. you wouldn't think she's 14. I kissed the top of her head and stood up.

"Stay safe princess" I whispered

Just as I was about to walk out I heard her mumble something.

"Jai" she whispered

"Yeah"

"Don't leave stay with me"

"Of course sweetheart"

I'm guessing she was scared and it didn't bother me. I walked over to her double bed and layer down I pulled the duvet over us and Tess came and snuggled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her.

"I love you Jai thank you for staying"

"That's ok sweetie, I love you too. Get some rest"

A few minutes later her breathing was steady and I heard light snores.

I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep with my little sister in my arms.
