As the ship sailed past the town I saw a sign that said 'Welcome to Romill Valley, CA Population: You and whoever you are traveling with'. As the S.S. Saint sailed past I for once wished my dad had not brought me on the business trip. This is how people felt about Romill Valley well at least back then. But not now and all because of me and thirteen other middle school kids. Because we got stranded on Jules Island and Verne Island to little islands off the south east coast of California. They are named after Science Fiction author Jules Verne because they are supposedly teemed with wildlife from his books.
