Era: Victoria

Nighttime

  As the clock struck 12, Lola awoke from her deep slumber, breathing heavily. With only darkness around her she looked over to her sisters bed. She could see her sister's red hair on the pillow. Lisa was still asleep, soundly.
'' Does she really need to be snoring all the time?'' Lola whispered to herself. As she lied back down in the hope to fall asleep again, she saw something moving by the door. Scared she hid under her blanked, until she could hear a soft bark. It was just her dog. '' Elizabeth! You scared me you stupid dog!''
''Hmh?'' Lisa mumbled softly '' Sis, why are you still awake? It's late.....Or very early.''
'' Sorry lil' sis, Elizabeth scared me...again!'' Lola said looking angrily at the little white Shepherd who was now crying softly knowing what she did.
'' Well...i'm gonna * yawn* try and sleep again. Goodnight'' Lisa said as she moves herself to a comfortable position.
''Goodnight...'' Lola whispered to her sister. Lola looked out of her window, a big full moon lightened up the night sky in a beautiful shade of blue. Her black hair being given a glow of blue by the moonlight. Lola loved the night, peaceful and full of mystery. Every night she has the same dream: She was swimming underneath the moonlight, with her legs replaced with a beautiful black fishtail. She would sing the most beautiful songs while the waves echoed in the background. Oh how much she wished to sleep beneath the moonlight, escaping this broken family.
Lola was awoken by Elizabeth crying by the door. She could hear shouting and crying from downstairs, her parents where fighting again. Lola stood up and walked over to her sister's bed. Lisa had tears in her eyes, Lola cuddled her until she could hear their father leaving the house.

'' When will this end?'' She thought by herself.
