Classroom 26

Chapter 2

I opened my eyes and breathed heavily . There is an oxygen mask on my mouth and I look around .

I am in a hospital.

Ugh I've always hated these places , they are so scary clean and to me it is a torture.

Then everything came back to me , Classroom 26 .

Everything that happened was burned on my memory .

I closed my eyes and saw how everyone was coughing and throwing up and how the gas slowly was spreading trought the room .

I remembered how horrible the burning pain was in my lungs and airways .

My pulse started to go quicker and I tried to calm down.

What happened to my 16 classmates , and Misses Pales?

I know that laying here like a numb person wouldn't give me answers to my questions.

I sat up and took off the oxygen mask .

I looked at my arms , burns , a lot of them . I shivered and looked at my legs .

My entire body was covered with burns , bad ones . 

I bit my lip expecting the worst for my face and i tried to stand up but i failed .

After 20 minutes I managed to get back in the bed and I pressed the button to make a nurse come to me .

A nurse stormed inside my room and smiles weakly .

" you're awake , how do you feel ? " 

I sighed at her question because both of us know the answer , i feel horrible .

" ok i guess , could you please bring me a mirror and tell me who else survived this " 

She nodded and brought me a mirror , my jaw dropped .

God no , my face was just as worse as the other parts of my body and my hair was red , It used to be brown but now it's red like flames .

" Your hair stayed beautiful though" 

I shook my head at her , " I had light brown hair with blonde tips " 

Her eyes widened and she ran out of my room yelling " doctor doctor ! " 

A doctor ran to her and came into my room . 

" Is something wrong ? " he asked being a little out of breath from running so fast .

I cleared my throat and nodded " My hair used to be light brown with blonde tips " 

Hes jaw dropped , and he made notes in a little book . 

" May i take a little hair of your head and examine it ? " 

I nodded and let him pull a hair out of my head .

" That explains why the other 4 girls also have phoenix red hair ." 

I smiled a little " Sir can you please tell me who those 4 girls are ? " 

He nodded and opened his notebook again . 

" Aisha , Laura , Anouk ,Taisha and you survived it the others we're all dead and had normal coloured hair . " 

I swallowed a little , Rani , Kiara , Nona they are all dead , Misses Pales too .

A tear fell down my cheek making it hurt a little , My friends , most of them were dead .

One thing was for sure , this was not just a normal gas leak .
