Chapter 3

The nurse gave me some water and a pill to calm down a little because this was quite the shock for me .

I still couldn’t get it in my head that 13 people died and that 5 of us survived.

And we all turn out to have red hair , which is beautiful but scary at the same time.

The doctor said that the lab results from my hair sample will be known by tomorrow.

I look at the bags of blood hanging above my head and sigh , I still don’t get how all this could happen .

This was part of something bigger it must be this is not normal.

Something almost supernatural, unbelievable.

I looked back at my arm and my burns on my left arm were gone , I looked confused at my right arm where the burns just disappeared.

I kept looking mesmerized how all my burns just faded away to flawless skin.

I smiled and took the mirror that was lying next to me , my face was flawless, no more burns , but my hair was still red.

And my face seemed , more beautiful , my lashes were longer my lips were a dark pink colour and my green eyes were greener then I ever saw them.

I smiled widely with my white teeth , I felt , happy and strong .

I called the nurse and she came inside and looked at me from head to toe .

“ Wow Lima , you look , healed , just like the other 4 girls , you all look so beautiful it’s so unnatural , that’s why you girls all have to stay for some experiments “

I shook my head “ I don’t want to stay , I am healed  I want to go home I want to try to live with this I want to move on I am not ET  you aren’t going to treat me like an alien !”

She walked to me with one hand against her back and I could smell morphine , she was going to inject it in me to make me numb .

I shook my head and pulled the needles out of my arm and stood up .

She raised her arm with the morphine and said “ I am sorry “ But before that she could push it into my arm I took it from her and threw it out of the window .

“ I am not an alien ! I am normal and I am going home “

I walked out the room with my backpack and forgot my shoes but that wasn’t what I cared about now I had to get outside the hospital before that they could catch me .

I kept running and I could hear how a lot of doctors and nurses were looking for me .

My pulse quickened but I didn’t  feel tired at all , I was running fast .

At first I didn’t realize but in less than 5 minutes I was outside the hospital.

I ran to the nearest bus stop and got on the bus .

Some passengers looked weirdly at me but I ignored their stares.

The bus stopped not far away from my house , but I couldn’t just go to my house the doctors would find me there .

I decided to call the other girls .

That way we can come together that way we can all move together .

We had to , if they found us they would lock us inside the hospital and use us as testing animals.
