The Dress Code

          I got a request from a friend to do this so here we go. The dress code at my school isn't necessarily strict... It's just downright unreasonable... Like come on... We can't wear sweaters unless they're cableknit... Why? I have no clue. We can't wear hats, but that's not as unreasonable. We're also not allowed to wear colored knee or under-the-ankle socks, which I don't get. We're also not allowed to not wear socks at all. I was putting my backpack in the backpack area, and I saw my math teacher go up to one of my... Friends? Acquaintances? More the second one. Anyhow! The teacher randomly walked up and she was like... "Subtly looking at her uniform" and then she just grasped onto whatever she could to get her in trouble. Which was her lack of socks. I mean... Yeah, it's kinda uncomfortable to not wear socks because your heel and toes rub up against your shoes and you can get blisters... And I wouldn't not wear socks... But I don't think that it should be against the rules to wear them... There's also a rule that your skirts have to be down to your fingertips which I can understand because I don't wanna see your butt sticking out. There's also a rule that if you're just wearing leggings, which only applies on dress down days, your shirt has to cover your butt. I also understand that because I don't think anyone really wants to see that... Because a lot of our leggings are slightly see through. I can't currently think of any more ridiculous additions to our dress code, but if you go to my school and know one that I miss, tell me in the comments... So... FML.
