Nicole POV:
Ah, the nightshift. There aren't enough words in the dictionary to explain how much I dislike this place after dark. Making $8 an hour is okay I guess, but I absolutely hate being the last cashier to leave.
"Nicole, are you ready to count your till," my manager, Vance, asked?
I nodded, printing the content report off the computer screen, and logging off, grabbing my till out the small register box in front of me.

After 10 minutes of Vance counting my money, I was released to go home.
I put my walkie talkie away, and signed my paper, letting him know I was leaving. At least... I thought I was leaving.
I looked out the window, and saw an attractive looking boy, with curly hair and brown eyes staring back at me, smiling.
"Sir, we're closed," I said to the curly haired boy standing on the outside of the locked sliding glass door.
He started swaying back and fourth to create some kind of heat. The crisp January air making his cheeks get flushed, "I really fucking need those pizzas that are on sale."
I shook my head, "No can do, amigo. Come back tomorrow. We open at 5."
He looked me in the eyes, pleading, "Please," he took a quick glance down at my chest area, then looked back up at my face, "Nicole. I'm begging you. They won't be on sale tomorrow, and plus, I leave at 4:30. My plane leaves at 5:15. Do it for me?"
I bit the inside of my cheek, before eventually giving in and unlocking the door.
Surprisingly, Vance still isn't back yet from the office.
He smiled and ran in the store, dashing to the frozen foods section.
I giggled at his child like behavior, and walked into the break room, grabbing my car keys, wallet, jacket & phone from out my locker.
I turned on my heels and started walking out the break room when everything got dark.
"Shit," I cursed under my breath, turning the flashlight on from my phone, & running to find that pizza boy.
