Laurent felt his heart ache. The only person capable of making his heart ache like that was Larry but in this case it wasn't Larry anymore. His heart ached so bad because he missed someone. Someone that had been creeping through his mind every morning when he woke up, every day at school and every night in bed. That person that made him feel like he was the most beautiful person in the world. Even if it had been just a few weeks, he felt like he knew him so well, he felt a sense of comfort and ease whenever they texted. He felt loved and appreciated at the same time. He found himself smiling at random moments when he remembers their conversation, his heart always beating at an irregular rate just at the thought of him. He had never met someone like that before.

But it had been 1 week, 1 whole week since he last heard from him and it disturbed him. Was he okay? Did something happen to him? Did he fall sick or have an accident? Did he get tired of him already? Maybe he realised he wasn't as beautiful or special as he had thought. Maybe he didn't love him anymore like he said and didn't want to have anything to do with him anymore.

It couldn't be that. He couldn't just leave like that. There was no way in hell he could just leave him hanging, not after making him fall for him too.

Laurent heard his phone vibrate from the dresser. Jumping out from his chair, he rushed over to snatch his phone, hoping to heaven that it was him.

Roy: Hey, man. Me and a few friends are hanging out at the cafe in 10 minutes. Wanna come?

Laurent: No thanks.

Roy: You been down lately, you okay?

Laurent: Yeah, I'm fine.

Laurent: You guys go without me. I have a project to work on.
