Chapter 2

Quinn's POV

I walked into school for what seemed to be the millionth time. A couple people passed me and gave me a warm happy birthday. I was pretty popular in school, not that it mattered to me. I was always the shy one who didn't do much talking but oppositely Gaby was the life of the party. She knew what to say and when to say it every single time. She had dark brown skin and hair that went up to her shoulders. She had warm chocolate brown eyes and was always wearing a smile. She was one of the prettiest girls in school no wonder she always gets the guy in the end.

"The guy" in this situation was Jake. To me they were a match made in heaven. He and his amazing looks and jaw bone that could cut through steak... okay maybe that to go bar wasn't enough... But the two of them are a power couple. Man do I wish I had that.

"Hey girl!", the Ana, the school slut said. "You having another party for your birthday this year?"

I felt kind of weird answering her questioning because I knew what she really had in mind. "Yeah! I'm super excited for it!"

"Great! Make sure to bring the boys!" She gave a coy smile which seemed downright disgusting and flipped her cherry red hair. Whenever a wolf became seventeen they held a huge party just to celebrate and *hopefully* meet their mate, but to all the humans, it was just another excuse for a party.

While I was putting my things back in my locker I smelled something, something amazing. It was musky and alluring almost like pine and chocolate in one - two things I absolutely love. But as soon as it was there, it was gone. I looked around furiously trying to find its owner but in vain. Whoever that was had left, probably in a hurry.

I walked into first period just like any other Friday, like a zombie. Man this has been a long week. I can't wait till the party.

Derek's POV

I drove into school in my new gray Porsche and watched all the people swoon. Yeah I was shit rich and just got thrown out of private school Who knew egging the teacher was "against school rules"?

I watched some guys look at me with hateful stares as I walked past their girls, who were obviously swooning. They really shouldn't be mad if their girls can't keep their eyes or virginity's to themselves. I made my way to the office and gave them my name.

"Derek White, we have you information right here" They secretary said with a kind smile.

"Thanks" I said with a wink and she actually blushed! Wow people in public school must really have low standards! I just had to wink and she's already falling to my feet.

I was walking down the hall when I spotted a cute little redhead in a short skirt and a shirt that was riding up that she probably was aware of. Perfect target.

"Hey sexy, what you doing here all alone?"

"Waiting for you." She replied leaning in giving me a full view of her breasts. I leaned into her and enclosed her lips into a sloppy kiss. "Come with me." She ordered breathlessly.

She shoved me all the way into the girls bathroom. Guess I'm gonna be late to first period I thought with a smile.
