Chris eye's flashed from Orange to Gold. Marcie and the guy stared at Chris as he tried to regain control. 'No, no, no,' Chris thought, 'I. . . I can't stop it, Run . . . RUN!' He shook his head and groaned, the headache was coming back full force. The voice in his head grew louder telling him to kill, to kill the ones he loves and protect. He shook his head again to rid his mind of those thoughts to kill, but they kept coming back no matter how hard he tried. He could feel himself slipping, with the last of his strength he whispered, "Run." He said it so lightly that Marcie hardly heard it, before she had time to warn them, Chris eyes turned a dark orange color. An arrow shot form the bushes cutting his collar. His fur slowly turned a darker brown and gray. It started from his tail. Slowly moving to his head. All they could do was watch as he succumbed to HIS control. His head turned to them. His eyes no longer green and gold, but now a dark orange.

He growled at them, his body crouched and launched at them. Jaw open and a crazed looked in his eyes. Before he could reach them a gold like shield surrounded them. Marcie sighed, 'At lest he has some control.' she thought. Seto Gawked at the shield, he looked towards Marcie "Did you make this?" he asked. Marcie smiled and shook her head "No, Chris did" she answered. All three of them turned towards Chris who was knocked out on the ground with a dart sticking out his back leg.
The shield disappeared, leaving them standing in the middle of the forest with a knocked out Chris. A goat's head suddenly popped out from behind a bush. It looked from Chris laying on the floor, then to the three people standing over him. The goat began to walk forward. As it exited the bushed, they were able to see the rest of the body. The other half of the goat's fur turn a different color and appeared thicker. The hind legs were more wolf like than goat, and it had a large fluffy wolf tail. "Are you ok?" The goat creature ask them. More like he asked Marcie. "We are now." Marcie replied, "Come," the creature said "we must get him to the house before he wakes."

The creature carried Chris on his back, he lead the other three through the forest so they wouldn't get lost. Ssundee and Seto stared at the forest in awe, they have never seen trees so tall. Ssundee soon notice a marking on a couple of the trees. The goat creature notice this and said "Each one of these markings has a meaning." Yes," Marcie replied "this one, the marking was of a circle with a C in it, with 3 slashes diagonally across it, means we are only 3 miles away from the house and are entering Chris's territory. "His territory," Seto exclaimed startling Ssundee who stood next to him, "he doesn't own this forest, it free land." "He actually does own this land." Marcie told Seto, "This was his family's land for a long time, past down from generation to generation before they . . . Never mind. We're coming up to the next mark, watch your step and walk close together."
They walked by the second group of markings, 'This one, the marking was of a circle with a C in it, with two slashes diagonally across from each other," the creature said "means were are only 2 miles away from the house" "Yes Spike" Marcie replied, 'The creatures name is Spike,' Ssundee thought 'how original.' "But," Marcie continue "we also have to watch for traps and the wolf pack," 'WOLF PACK!' Seto thought. "Now this one, the marking was of a circle with a C in it, with a slash diagonally across it," Spike said, as they came to the last set of marks, "mean the house should be right around this corner, oh there it is." "Welcome to our home away from home." Marcie said, as she pointed toward the two story wooden cabin.It was walls were covered inJasmine. A light breeze carried the smell into there noses.
