Sky Army v.s. The Squids

Skylar, Liam, Chris, Marcie were in the middle of battle with the squids. Skylar, Liam, Marcie where on the side line, since they were badly injured during the fight. The medics were tending to their wounds as the war raged on. Chris on the other hand was on the ground, with a sword to his neck. A squid was on top of him trying to cut his head off. It held on to the sword with its last two tentacles, as the others laid on the ground a few feet away from him. As Chris looked to his left, he can see Sky's had a smirk on his face. Did he think he was going to die? As if it would take a lot more than a squid to kill him. Maybe Sky just didn't like him since he was a quite one. He never talked back and hardly participated in any of the activity the base did. Before the sword was put closer to his throat, Chris thought how this all even began.

~Flashback~

Chris POV

"Goodbye Stampy, I'll be back in about 10 months." I yelled to him. "Be careful." He replied back. As I jumped through the portal, I heard someone else jump though. I turned around to find my friend, Marcie, came through. "Why are you here? I thought you wanted to stay with them?" I asked her. "I know I said that but realized something. I just can't be without you... you've help me with so many things and I just don't want to see you go alone because, because I love you." she said, tear filling her eyes. "I...I love you too, Marcie. Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked. "Yes!" She yelled.

Marcie POV

Chris finally asked me out, I'm so happy. "Come on, we have to go and register at the Sky army to stop this blasted war from happening." Chris said a small smile on his face as he grab my hand. "Ok." I replied back smiling back at him holding his hand. As we walked to the base, I took my hood off. People immediately looked at my eyes. I could them whispering in hushed voices. I didn't care what people thought about my eyes but Chris did. He didn't want people to ask why eyes were like that, since it brought back some memories he wish to forget.

Chris POV

I saw Marcie take off her hood. I was always self-concise about my eyes. I could and feel everyone staring at Marcie and me. I was also not one for all attention we were getting. I could feel my left eye starting to burn as my shoulder tensed up. All these looks were messing with my head. I could hear the voice started to talk. I felt slight presser in my hand and looked at Marcie She gave me a reassuring smile and continued forward. I took long deep breathes to calm myself. Shaking my head slowly and relaxing my shoulders I continued forward. Most of them were giving us weird looks. I heard some whisper 'Who are they.' 'I bet there going to die in the next squid war.' and even 'He looks cute.' Shaking my head lightly, I took deep breaths to calm myself. I walked up to the registration where I saw a guy dressed in a black suit with a blue tie and black sunglasses.

Ssundee POV

As I looked at all the other kids that register for the Sky Army, I see two kids or teens walk up to me. Strange, I never have seen them here before. They must be form out of town or something. "Hello, how my I help you." I asked them. "We would like to join the Sky Army, sir." the boy said. "Ok, please fill this out, then return it back to me when you're done, Thank you" I said back. The boy only nods and walks off, "Sorry about that, he just isn't really good at talking to new people." I turn to see a girl in a black hooded with black and red pants. Her eye's where strange, the left one was light green with specks of blue in it while the right was almost all black with two slashes over it. The slashed were healed, but they looked like they were done recently. "No big deal, almost all new recruits are always like that." "Marcie, come ON!" the boy yelled "Ok, ok I'm coming Chris" So Chris and Marcie where their names. "Well I'll see you around, later." "Goodbye, and enjoy your stay at Sky Army." and with that they walked off. Something was off about those people but I didn't have time to question them because, I had to register some more recruits.
