I ran home after school to get ready for Brody's football game. It will be my first football game. I've had alot of firsts this week. First boyfriend, first date, first kiss, first smile since my parents perished from the face of the Earth. I guess life isn't really that bad after all.
I quickly threw a pair of sweatpants on and my Adidas jacket along with my Adidas Superstars. I hurried out the door to my grandma's car, not even bothering to ask if I can take it.

I pulled into the parking lot and jumped out of the car. I jogged to the bleachers and seen Demonica sitting in the front row, right behind the cheerleaders.
"Demi!" I yelled from the door. She turned ants moved her hands pointing to an empty seat next to her. I sat down right when the referee blew his whistle to start the game.
Quickly, I located Brody. I spotted him, large white letters against a black jersey reading 'Peterson' and number '07'. I smiled. Travon yelled the command or whatever they do before they pass.
I watched the boys quickly scatter, some getting tackle and others getting open for a pass to score a touchdown. Travon got a hold of the ball clutching it tight. Two boys in gray jerseys ran up on either side of him, so he quickly passed to Brody, who caught it perfectly and began to run for a touchdown.
He ran quickly, juking players that ran at him. Suddenly, a boy came out of nowhere wearing a gray jersey. The cheerleaders were cheering louder than ever.
"EASTMAND!!!! EASTMAND!!! WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!!! GET THE BALL AND FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!"
I watched as the boy ran into Brody, wrapping his arms around his body and pulling him to the ground. Brody's helmet flew into the air, along with the ball and his head smacked onto the ground.
I got up from my seat and ran down to the field.
"Brody!!! Brody???? Are you okay????" A tear escaped my eye and ran down my face, dropping into my hand. I felt arms holding me.
"Ma'am? I'm going to have to ask you to take a seat." He said. His calm, gentle voice made me so mad.
"I'm his girlfriend." I snapped as I buried across the field to Brody's side. He was unconscious, and more tears escaped my eyes as I took his head in my hands and lay it in my lap. "Brody? If you can hear me, I hope you are okay. I'll come with you to the hospital. I promise. I love you."
Just then, the paramedics lifted Brody onto a stretcher and hauled him off to the ambulance. I got up and grabbed Demonica, both of us following close behind. We were stopped at the ambulance by one of the paramedics.
"Family only." He boomed.
"I'm family." I said. Another tear ran down my face.
"I'm with her." Demonica pointed to me and then grabbed my wrist, pulling me into the small vehicle. The paramedic didn't stop us, so I guess he believed us.
We sat down inside. The paramedic woman was hooking Brody up to a heartbeat monitor. It turned on and his heart was beating. I thanked the Lord. I listened as the driver started the sirens and we drove off.
The ambulance pulled into the emergency room pavilion and we jumped out. I noticed Brody's lip was bleeding and there was blood all over his jersey. I couldn't hold back the tears, so I let them run down my face.
"Miss. I'm going to need you to go sit in the waiting room. We will notify you when you can see him. Can I get your name?"
"Um. Yes. My name is Aliah Mokalia and this is Demonica Mernin." I managed to force a smile and we walked away towards the waiting room as I let out loud cries, while Demi rubbed my back sympathetically.∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆
Did you enjoy?
Was it too early for one of them to get hurt?
Should I change perspectives soon?
