A Bad Boy in Love

Chapter 7

During lunch I took a seat in front of Ashley who was floating on cloud nine. Anytime Ashton came into her perspective it was as if she was gone. Just mesmerized by that kid. I groaned throwing a piece of my lettuce at her face. She didn't flinch instead winked at Ashton. 

" look away!" I shouted snapping my fingers at Ashton. He just smirked turning back around in his seat. 

" Ashley I will shove this sandwich in your mouth!" I say clapping my hands. She quickly looked over at me a blush forming. 

" sorry, I was just looking at that painting' She mumbled poking at her chicken salad. I rolled my eyes not believing her lies. 

" okay enough of the bs, what the hell were you and Ashton doing last night" I ask taking a quick bite out of my chicken panini. 

She looked down, pulling her hair away from her face. It was like she was a new person, nicer and still she hasn't mentioned sleeping with some random guy. A new high for her. 

" I could ask you the same thing, don't act like I never saw you and Romeo there" She smirked catching me. 

" this isn't about me and that jerk now explain" I reply, narrowing my eyes. She nodded her head and quickly began explaining her night out. 

Apparently Ashton took her out to dinner and now they're sort of together but at the same time really aren't. It was confusing at first but after a few minutes it becomes a fact that the both of them are just dumb and won't admit they actually love each other. 

" anyways every one is talking about it" Meghan said with a smile, moving closer to her. For the past twenty minutes she's been working on her essay but made a few comments along the way. 

" about what?" I ask taking out some chicken and eating it alone. Meghan raised an eyebrow and gave me a dirty look. 

" you seriously haven't recognized the looks from the whole school practically?" Meghan raised her voice , looking seriously shocked. 

" um no?" I shrug , taking one of her french fries and dipping it into the honey mustard sauce, chewing it. 

" I told you she's just stupid" Ashley mumbled glancing at me. I rolled my eyes internally, instead looking around. 

Sure enough some people were starring and whispering. People were so annoying.I had no tolerance for drama starters. 

" why? do I look extra fabulous or something" I question finishing up my sandwich. Both girls roll their eyes. 

" you and Romeo made out" Meghan stated as I began choking on a piece of chicken. She widened her eyes handing me her water bottle. 

I fanned my face, gulping down most of it. 

" your kidding? how the hell wait no- why the hell would I make out with him" I shout causing some people on the other table to turn around. 

" well in the parking lot you guys were close together and people began talking" Ashley answered , grabbing Meghan's folder and fanning my face. 

I pouted rubbing my temple, not really wanting to have this rumor against me. Couldn't they just say I had a zit or something. 

" okay first of all we did not kiss nor was I planning on it and people should shut up" I tell them, pushing away my lunch. 

Meghan and Ashley gave me sheepish looks, glancing at one another. I sighed taking out my phone and busying myself. Of course the both of them believed that rumor. It was typical. 

" anyways I wanna go away somewhere for Spring Break, it's our last year and I just want to be a rebel" Meghan exasperated, playing with a piece of cookie on the table.
