Chapter Ten

Alana -
Sitting at home waiting patiently so Que can call or text me back but I haven't heard from him in 4hours now . So I decided I should tell my mom without him being there . I went to my mom room and told her I had to tell her something , just then my phone started ringing it was que calling me back . I answered the phone ," hello ." The phone was kind of staticky all I could hear was his voice going in and out . So with the way me and him joke around about his phone service I yelled in the phone with a smile on my face ," boy hello, didn't I tell you to get rid of that boost mobile ." Then outta no where the phone hung up. So I proceeded in telling my mom the news that could make me or break me or have my mother brake my lil ass in two , either one I was scared for my life . My mom told me to just spit it out because her show was on so I did just that & I spoke immediately," mom I'm pregnant !" She spit out her juice and hopped off the bed and yelled ," what the hell?" I repeated myself & my mom held her head down and said ," I heard you but by who that boy quinton that I'm not fond of too much ?" I nodded yes and closed my eyes flinching a little knowing that my mom was going to smack me from New York all the way to Timbuktu . However, I was wrong my mom had tears coming from her eyes looking very confused and shook her head continuously . "I refuse to believe this ", she said with her voice rattling a little. "Mommy I'm so sorry I cried!" , I cried out. My mom stopped crying and I could tell by the look on her face she was angry and heartbroken . So then she asked ,"does he know? How far along are you and who took you to get a test?". I explained everything to her and she made me call que immediately and told me to invite him over to talk, so I did just that.

Que-
My damn phone was fucking up like crazy . I swear i hate this damn phone company like it's  real fucking shitty. Alana called me and I finally had a chance to answer the phone since I wasn't busy with work at the time . So I decided to text her and asked her wassup? Even though I didn't get a respond back from her I decided to go pull up on her and see what was up because I remember she texting and calling earlier saying it was and emergency . I just hope everything is ok with my baby girl!
So I arrived at Alana's house to see her mother there looking out the window as if she was waiting for me . Man god knows this woman don't really like me as much but I guess I have to deal with it because that's my shorty's mother and plus i am a respectful guy . I don't know why Mrs. smith just won't see me for who I really am . I walked up to the door and her mother let me in the house . She mad a snarky comment saying,"hello mr.dopeboi." But I just ignored her comments and remained humble and respectful to her . I flashed her a smile of my pretty white teeth and said," good evening Mrs . Smith , how are you doing ?" She shriveled up her nose and turned her head and yelled for Alana to come downstairs .
Her presence could light up the room as I seen Alana walk down the stairs I felt butterflies in my stomach and my cheeks turned red a little . She greeted me with a hug , then smiled and said ," hey Que !" In a sensual tone . Her mother then rolled her eyes and mocked Alana and said ,"shit yo damn ass down girl!" In a angry tone . So Mrs . Smith looked at me and said ,"Alana tell this man what you told me ! " she looked at her mom then looked right back at me as she was nervous and tears started rolling down her face. I rushed to sit next to her and to pick her head up and look into her beautiful brown eyes . "What's wrong baby girl?" In a concerned toned I asked . Her top lip quivered a little and she was about to speak until her mother cut her off. " awww hell Alana act like an adult right now and tell him that you pregnant !" ,Mrs. Smith said with her arms folded. I was shocked and I was kinda confused but then I wasn't . I looked at Alana and said ," is that true ma?" She shook her head and nodded yes . I grabbed her tight and held her close and whispered ,"it's gonna be ok , you and my unborn going to have it all and everything you want!"
