It's the color of his eyes as you had your first kiss. It's the color of the water at the beach you went to for your first date. It's the color of his jacket that he let you borrow as you crossed 46th st. It's the color of the flower he gave you when he slide that silver wring into your left ring finger. It's the color of the braids maids dresses as you say I do. It's the color of the blanket they wrapped your first born son in. it's the color of the tears that fall from his eyes as he watches them lower your casket into the ground. And it's the color of the same flower he sets on your grave every Wednesday evening.
