The wind rustled the autumn leaves as Mac relaxed into the bench with Hunter by his side. Nothing could be more perfect than at that very minute. He was so content contentious almost sleep. Her head was placed on his brown jacket and her eyes flickered between the kids at play.
"Ya know Mac I'm glad I finally got away." she whispered.
"Away? From what? Mission City?"
He asked in confusion.
"All of it. Mac it got worse after you left. I don't think I'll ever forget what he's done to me. He tied me up so often it seemed foreign when my wrists were free. He experimented with whips and chains and every other thing he could think of."She started to shake in fear and he held her tighter.
"Don't worry. He can't get you no more. " he whispered as he fixed his gaze back on the children at play.
"Your right. I know." She finally realaxed completely and she drifted slowly to sleep.The end
