Baekhyun's pov

Kyungsoo and I stepped out of the bus and grabbed our suitcases before heading to the dorms. I thought this would be some forest camp with log cabins and canoeing and whatnot. But it wasn't. It was a huge area of land with state of the art buildings and five star rated chefs.

Mom really went all out, I remember thinking.

"Byun, we have to check in," Kyungsoo told me. I really insisted on him calling me Baekhyunie or Baekie but apparently Kyungsoo doesn't do nicknames.

"Alright," I answered back.

Kyungsoo didn't wait for me, he went on ahead. He's pretty serious, but I like that about him.

I was about to take a step further when someone really tall bumped into my right shoulder harshly. It made me stagger back and a small gasp escaped my lips.

I looked up at the stranger, thinking that I should tell him off a bit about looking where he was going but as soon as I saw his face all my courage melted away. He was very tall and had cold, dark eyes with ash-dyed hair and lightly tanned skin. He wore a shirt with the sleeves ripped off, revealing his toned arms. He carried a guitar case on his back. His hair shone with the sun.

I wanted to talk to him. He looked like an interesting character but he didn't glance at me or even mumble a half-assed apology before running to a group of people- his friends I guessed. I watched him greet every one with loose hugs or high fives while I stood there clutching my hurt shoulder. The tall guy stood out from everyone at camp, and I wasn't the only one that noticed. Multiple people were also staring at the guy, some whispering to the people next to them or girls giggling to themselves.

There was another guy who stood out too. He was tall but not as tall as the guy with the ash hair. He had black hair and tight-fitting clothes that showed off his model-esque body. He looked serious and his black eyes met mine as he walked up to me menacingly. I wanted to look away, pretend I wasn't staring and avoid trouble. I was getting a clammy feeling in my stomach but I knew that walking away wouldn't be a very good idea.

Swallowing the lump in my throat, I stayed put and waited for the guy with the black hair to reach me. He stopped in front of me, and I turned my body toward him, trying to appear as though I wasn't scared about what was to come next. He reached out his hand for a handshake and I took it. He smirked, probably because my hand was limp and sweaty, then he introduced himself.

"I'm Oh Sehun. It's my first year at this place but you're Byun Baekhyun, right?" His smirk turned into a smile.

"Ah...yes I am. Nice to meet you." We released our hands. "How do you know about me, Oh Sehun?"

His smile widened, he suddenly became very energetic and not menacing at all. "Oh, dude, you're totally famous here! Everyone knows who you are!"

I grew nervous again. "Is that a good thing?" I laughed nervously.

"Of course! Everyone always talks about how much of a good singer you are and how you're really cool and hardworking. As soon as I recognized you I had to come say hi. You're an idol for these guys." He meant everyone at camp. No one had ever told me any of this, and I didn't know how much of it was true but the compliments got to me. He then leaned in close, to my ear.

"I hear a lot of talk about how attractive you are, too." He whispered while chuckling. I was taken aback. People talked about how attractive I was? That didn't seem true. If anyone should be famous for their looks it should be this guy, the one standing right in front of me.

"Really?" I gasped. "Stop lying." I punched his arm playfully. Even though we hadn't even known each other for a full hour his personality made me comfortable and I felt silly for thinking of him as menacing literally five minutes ago.

We laughed. "It's true! Even when I was walking over here I heard these two girls calling some dude handsome."

"How are you sure it was me?"

He looked at the ground quickly while chuckling. "Ha I just assumed it was you. I mean, who else could it be?" He smiled at me.

"Nah, it could've been you, Oh Sehun."

"Me?" He gasped, ears turning a very slight shade of pink. "Do you really think so?"

"Of course, man. You're tall and you dress well. If it wasn't you it was probably that guy over there." I motioned with my head to the guy with ash-dyed hair.

"Ah, Park Chanyeol?"

"Is that his name? Geez, you know everyone," I laughed.

"Oh everyone knows him, too. Apparently he has a really deep voice and since he plays the guitar and he's tall all the girls want to get to know him."

"They're interested in a mysterious guy who plays guitar? Isn't it funny how cliche that is."

"I thought so too, but if I was a girl I wouldn't know any better either." We laughed and made more comments on the attractive guy. I asked Oh Sehun if he had registered yet, to which he said no, so we made our way to register together. On the way I got to know him a little bit more and we exchanged phone numbers. We also realized that our rooms in the dormitories were right next to each other, which he was very enthusiastic about.

On our way out from registering we passed by Park Chanyeol again who made eye contact with me, then quickly looked away. He annoyed me for being rude, but he was good-looking enough to where I didn't really care enough to call him out for it. Oh Sehun helped me move my things to my room where we hung out for a bit while we waited for the opening camp ceremony. Kyungsoo also stopped by the room and introduced himself to Oh Sehun. They seemed to get along well, but I can never tell if Kyungsoo enjoys anything since he always has the same blank expression on his face.

The opening ceremony came and went and amist all the cheers from the first-comers Sehun and I kept making jokes and comments. We ate the camp dinner and made our way to the dorm buildings where we talked some more before going into our separate rooms and saying goodnight.
