CHAPTER 4 - THE BEACH PARTY

Maya's POV

We were in art class and frankly, I loved this new teacher, in a few weeks he already told me important things.

When I looked at my painting I realized I've painted a sky full of stars with a campfire, I've painted the scenario of when Lucas almost kissed me, and I couldn't hide this, just needed an explanation that didn't include Lucas.

The bell ringed and when Riley and I were in the halls, a guy who must be senior gave us a paper without saying anything. The paper said that tonight we would have a beach party which started 5 pm and we should take our tends, food and drinks.

Farkle came close to us with Lucas, Smackle and Zay.

_Yes, our first high school party, how exciting is that? – Riley said

_Yay – I said with a discouraged voice.

_Come on Maya, how can you not be excited about this?

_It's just go to the beach with people from school and most of them will be drunk.
