chapter 5

*Melina pov*
It was Hayes. He was so cute. I just stared at him and he did the same. That's until maddie interrupted "uhm guys? can we go?..." we just laughed and got out of my house.

*Hayes pov*
when we hot to Meli's house Nash told me to go knock on the door and so i did. When Meli opened the door my eyes widened and we just stayed there starring at each other until maddie said "uhm guys? can we go?" the three of us laughed.
-"wow meli, you really are very gorgeous" i said
-"well thank you, you're not so bad yourself... i think i said that a while ago" she laughed and so did i.
I opened the car door for them. -"nash and i wanted to be in a comfy place where we can get to know eachother and be freaky without any dirty looks so we didn't really want to go to a restaurant, we were thinking about just staying at home, eat there, talk, watch movies, maybe? is that okay?" i said.
Meli answered right away saying that it was perfectly fine with them and that they were actually happy.
We arrived home and there wasn't anybody. They were so shy it was adorable and this is so weird because it never happened to me. There was a note in the kitchen: "Hayes, Nash, we went to the movies, we will get back around 12:00 pm. Have fun! Mom".
We all cooked together, it was pretty fun and a way to not be awkward. Meli and I bumped twice, the first time we just starred at each other and kinda leaned in but we heard a little noise so we looked to the side and it was Nash and Maddie starring at us so we just did like nothing happened, I kept doing pizzas and she was doing brownie but also helping me. The second time we bumped and smiled but she FREAKING POURED FLOUR ON MY FACE AND SHE COULDNT STOP LAUGHING it was so cute I just wanted to kiss her but i didnt want to go so fast... well it's just a kiss.. maybe later if i have the guts. She ran away so i started chasing her until i got her by the hips and cleaned my face with her hair, i turned her fast and threw her to the couch. We ended face to face so i guess this is my time. I leaned in and we kissed. It felt so good, like all this spark in my stomach, more like a zoo actually but it was a nice zoo.
