Vic's POV
Today's going to be awesome. It's the last day of Warped Tour. The whole tour was really fun this year. Every crowd we performed for was so excited and sang along with us. And I plan on making this last performance the best as I can for everyone.
I quickly got out of my bunk and picked up my phone. Clicking the power button on. Holy shit, its already 10:30?! We're supposed to be on our way by 11.
As I looked around, I saw everyone else was still sleeping. What? Tony usually wakes me, since he's the first one up.
Then I remembered, last night was pretty crazy.
Jaime decided to have a last day party because we'd be on our way home as soon as we were done with Warped. Everyone got really drunk and Tony ended up on the roof of the trailer, once again.
The funny thing is, I didn't drink at all. I didn't bring any girls with me. In fact, while the party was going on, I was outside, walking along this path. It was nice and quiet. I liked it. I just wanted some time to think.
As much as I loved being on tour, I missed home. One of the things I missed most, was my best friend, Skyler. I honestly don't know how she hasn't forgotten about me over the past few months. At least I got to visit her last week.
But most of the time, I was worrying.
I think I was getting really nervous about the whole tour itself. I have no idea why. But we hung out for a while. When we get home today, I'm gonna text her. Maybe we can see each other tomorrow.
Fuck, how long have I been standing here?
I checked my phone again. 10:40 now? We're gonna be late. I need to wake everyone up.
How to do it? I'm not sure, um
"GUYS WAKE UP ITS 10:40 AND WE HAVE TO LEAVE BY 11." I yelled. That came out a bit louder than I expected.
"What the fuck? Vic?" Mike asked drowsily. He's probably still tired. I don't have time for this.
"Wake up those two." I said, pointing at Jaime and Tony. How did they not hear me? They could just be ignoring me. Whatever, I need to get ready.
"Y-yeah. Sure." As soon as Mike said that, I ran out of the room. I'll go take a quick shower.
-
Alright. 10:47. Time to get dressed. What should I wear? Maybe I should wear that Anthem Made top Kellin gave me. Yeah, I'll wear that.
As I got dressed, I heard Mike and Tony talking in the front.
"I wonder why... It's weird of him to do that."
"Maybe he just didn't feel like partying. He was probably tired, Tony."
"Yeah I guess. Anyway, we should finish getting ready."
They were talking about me. I didn't think they'd notice. Oh well.
Then I heard Jaime shout,
"Hey Vic. Come on over to the front. We're about to start driving."
"Sure! I'll be right there."
Lets just fix my hair a bit. Annnnd there. Now get a hat. Alright, that looks good. Time to go.
I walked into the front. Mike and Tony looked at me for a second, then smiled. I guess they're happy to see me. I sat on the couch across from them.
Why are they being so quiet?
"So... How you guys doing?"
"I'm pretty good." Tony replied.
He gave some sort of signal to Mike to start talking too.
"Uh, yeah. I'm still kinda tired." He replied, making a half-smile.
They're acting weird. Why would-
"Vic." Tony said suddenly. Ok, I guess he wanted to talk to me now.
"Yeah?"
"Are... Are you ok?"
I knew it. They're still wondering about yesterday.
"Of course man. Why are you asking?"
Then Mike joined in.
"We just wanted to know, since you missed the party yesterday. It kinda surprised us." He said awkwardly, laughing a bit.
"It's fine."
"So what were you doing anyway?"
"Well I wasn't really in the mood to party yesterday, honestly. So I went outside and walked along this path. It was pretty quiet. I just wanted to think for a while, you know?"
Both Tony and Mike looked relieved now. I didn't think it was that big of a deal.
"Yeah we get it. That's cool."
I decided to turn on the TV. That'll probably help us feel less... awkward.
