PRELUDE

I entered the Dean's Office and sat on the chair. He interlocked his hands, looked at straight into my eyes, and said:

"You're expelled, Ms. Chou." I'm not even surprised. He gave me a brown envelope and said some shits, but I didn't bother to listen to him. Why would I listen to him? "...I'm sorry, but Mr. Lee decided this." He pertained to the school owner.

"It's fine. It's your loss anyway." I stood up and carried the envelope with me. "You'll lose an exemplary student like me." I smirked and walked out of his office.

I know this day would come. The day that I'll be kicked out of a school because this already happened to me four times.

I called my mom and told her about this. She wasn't mad or what. Well, she knows about the reason anyway.

"Okay. I'll enroll you to another university." She said and ended the call. This is the fourth time that I have received an expulsion from a school.

I stayed inside the school library and slept on the darkest place there, so the librarian won't be able to see me.

And then I felt a buzz. My phone is vibrating. I opened the text message from my mom.

From: Mom

Everything's fine already, sweetie. You'll transfer to Big Hit University next school year.

4:20 PM

Big Hit University, huh? I have never heard of it, but it sounds exciting.
