Silence. That's all you could here was dead silence in the Mcgarrett house hold. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. You had your back up against the wall and your gun to your chest. You very carfully looked around the corner to have a bullet barley miss your head. You quickly drew back and took a deep breath

"Its not like you to miss Steve." You called out to him and you heard him chuckle.

"Yeah well you got lucky this time." He called back to you and you grabbed the bullet that he shot. You quietly went up stairs and reloaded your gun. It wasn't easy having a nerf gun battle when your both part of the Navy that is.

You went back down stairs and quietly hurried into the kitchen and hid yourself. You heard his foot steps get closer and got ready to move. Steve stopped and looked around

"Come out, come out, where ever you are (Y/n)." He called and you waited until he was in front of you. Steve walked into the kitchen and you jumped out from where you were hiding and shot at him. He dodge it and went to shoot you only for you to dodge it as well. It when on like this until you each had one bullet left and neither one of you wanted to come out.

"You know I'm going to win so why don't you just give up babe." Steve called out and you laughed sarcastically.

"Is that so? Cause I think we both know I already one sweeatheart." You called back to him.

"Alright then on the count of three we both jump out of our spots and shoot." Steve called back

"Alright on the count of three." You nodded

"One."

"Two."

"THREE!" You both shouted

You both took the shot and you missed but he hit you on the forehead were the foam dart stuck

"Told you I'd win." He smirked and you stuck your tongue out at him then chuckled.

"That has to be the best nerf fight I've ever had." You smiled and set your gun down on the center table

Steve walked over and wrapped his arms around your waist. "What do you say to picking up all the darts and surprise attacking Danny and Grace?"

"I'd say that's a wonderful idea commander." You smiled and kissed him before you two picked up the darts and headed to the Williams house.
